وفي تطور مفاجئ، أعلنت المحامية شيرين جودة تنحيها عن الدفاع عن حقوق الفنان الراحل، بعد ساعات من قرار التأجيل.
وكتبت المحامية عبر حسابها على موقع «فيسبوك»: «أديت واجبي المهني خلال الفترة الماضية»، مشيرة إلى وجود أسباب خاصة دفعتها لاتخاذ قرار التنحي، مع تأكيدها على قناعتها بأن الراحل كان ضحية «غدر بشع»، وفق تعبيرها.

وتعود تفاصيل القضية إلى مشاجرة وقعت أمام أحد الأندية الرياضية بمدينة السادس من أكتوبر، انتهت بمقتل الفنان طعناً بسلاح أبيض.
وبحسب تحقيقات النيابة وتحريات الأجهزة الأمنية، فقد توجه الفنان الراحل إلى النادي لرؤية نجله، قبل أن تنشب مشادة كلامية بينه وبين المتهم، الذي يُقال إنه زوج طليقته، وتطورت إلى اشتباك بالأيدي أمام بوابة النادي.
وأظهرت كاميرات المراقبة قيام المتهم بتسديد طعنات أدت إلى وفاة الفنان في الحال قبل وصول محاولات الإسعاف.

In a surprising development, lawyer Sherine Joudeh announced her withdrawal from defending the rights of the late artist, just hours after the postponement decision.
The lawyer wrote on her Facebook account: "I have fulfilled my professional duty during the past period," indicating that there were personal reasons that led her to make the decision to withdraw, while affirming her belief that the deceased was a victim of "horrific betrayal," as she put it.
Case Details
The details of the case date back to a brawl that occurred outside a sports club in the Sixth of October City, which ended with the artist being fatally stabbed with a sharp weapon.
According to the prosecution's investigations and security agencies' inquiries, the late artist had gone to the club to see his son, before a verbal altercation broke out between him and the accused, who is said to be the ex-husband of his ex-wife, escalating into a physical confrontation at the club's entrance.
Surveillance cameras showed the accused delivering stabs that resulted in the artist's immediate death before any attempts at resuscitation could be made.
