وكشف الميرغني، عبر بيان نشره على حسابه في «إنستغرام»، أن علاقته بإسراء عبد الفتاح ستظل قائمة على الاحترام والعِشرة الطيبة، متمنيًا لها التوفيق في حياتها المقبلة، كما طالب الجمهور ووسائل الإعلام باحترام خصوصية الأسرة، وعدم الانسياق وراء الشائعات أو التأويلات.
