تسجل المملكة حضوراً لافتاً في مهرجان مالمو للسينما العربية، أحد أبرز المنصات الدولية لعرض الإنتاجات العربية خارج العالم العربي، في مشهد يعكس تصاعد حضور السينما السعودية عالمياً، وقدرتها على الوصول إلى جمهور دولي متنوع، وسط مشاركة عربية واسعة تجمع نخبة من صناع الأفلام والنقاد والجمهور من مختلف الدول.
«ليالي عربية».. بوابة العبور إلى أوروبا
أعلنت هيئة الأفلام مشاركتها في المهرجان من خلال برنامج «ليالي عربية»، الذي يأتي برعاية «ليالي الفيلم السعودي»، تأكيداً لاستمرارية الحضور السعودي في المنصات السينمائية الدولية، وتعزيزاً لمكانة السينما الوطنية على خارطة المهرجانات العالمية.
ويُقام البرنامج خلال الفترة من 7 إلى 17 أبريل، متضمناً عروضاً سينمائية وجلسات حوارية متخصصة، في إطار برنامج متكامل يعكس تنوع التجربة السعودية ويعزز حضورها في المحافل الدولية.

أفلام سعودية تنافس.. وصوت إبداعي يتصاعد
تشهد المشاركة عرض عدد من الأفلام السعودية ضمن برامج ومسابقات المهرجان، من بينها: «هجرة» للمخرجة شهد أمين، الذي مثّل المملكة في الأوسكار 2026، و«سلمى والقمر» للمخرجة عهد كامل، و«القيد» للمخرج حسام الحلوة، و«إسعاف» للمخرج كولن تيج، و«مسألة حياة أو موت» للمخرج أنس باطهف.

يسلط المهرجان الضوء على مشاركة عربية واسعة تضم 39 فيلماً (22 طويلاً و17 قصيراً)، من إنتاج 14 دولة عربية، بالتعاون مع 14 دولة غربية، في مؤشر واضح على تنامي الشراكات الدولية واتساع حضور السينما العربية على الساحة العالمية.
جولة أوروبية.. من السويد إلى النرويج
لا تقتصر العروض على مدينة مالمو، بل تمتد ضمن جولة سينمائية عبر 4 دول أوروبية هي: السويد، والدنمارك، وفنلندا، والنرويج، في خطوة تعزز انتشار السينما السعودية وتوسّع دائرة وصولها إلى جمهور أوروبي متنوع.

تحظى العروض السعودية باهتمام لافت من الجمهور الأوروبي، إذ تتواصل النقاشات عقب العروض في جلسات تفاعلية يشارك فيها صناع الأفلام من مخرجين ومنتجين وكتاب، ما يسهم في تعزيز التبادل الثقافي، وفتح آفاق جديدة للتوزيع وبناء شراكات إنتاجية نوعية.
تكريم المحيسن.. وفاء للرواد
تتزامن المشاركة مع تكريم المخرج السعودي الرائد عبدالله المحيسن في الدورة الـ16 للمهرجان، تقديراً لمسيرته التأسيسية ودوره في نشأة السينما السعودية، إلى جانب عرض فيلمه الوثائقي «اغتيال مدينة»، وتنظيم «ماستر كلاس» يستعرض تجربته الإبداعية.
وأكد الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة الأفلام عبدالله القحطاني أن هذا التكريم «يجسد الامتداد الطبيعي لمسيرة سينمائية وطنية تتواصل اليوم عبر جيل جديد»، مشيراً إلى أن ما تحقق من حضور دولي هو نتيجة تراكم تجارب بدأت ببصمات الرواد.

The program will take place from April 7 to 17, featuring film screenings and specialized discussion sessions, as part of a comprehensive program that reflects the diversity of the Saudi experience and enhances its presence in international forums.

The participation coincides with the honoring of pioneering Saudi director Abdullah Al-Muhaisen at the 16th edition of the festival, in recognition of his foundational career and role in the emergence of Saudi cinema, alongside the screening of his documentary film “Assassination of a City,” and organizing a “Master Class” showcasing his creative experience.
