تحوّل خلاف عائلي على قطعة أرض زراعية في محافظة ديالى العراقية إلى جريمة دامية، بعدما انتهى نزاع على الميراث بمقتل أب ونجله وإصابة شخص ثالث، في حادثة هزّت أهالي قضاء المقدادية وأعادت إلى الواجهة مخاطر النزاعات العائلية المتفاقمة.
ووقعت الجريمة، الأحد، في قرية بروانة التابعة لقضاء المقدادية، عندما تطور خلاف بين أربعة أشقاء إلى مواجهة مسلحة، أقدم خلالها شقيقان على إطلاق النار تجاه شقيقيهما، ما أسفر عن مقتل أحدهما ونجله على الفور، فيما أُصيب الشقيق الآخر بجروح متفاوتة.
وأكدت قيادة شرطة ديالى، في بيان رسمي، أن الجريمة نُفذت على خلفية خلافات عائلية مرتبطة بالميراث، موضحة أن المتهمين، وهما شقيقان للمجني عليهما، أطلقا النار عليهما قبل أن يلوذا بالفرار من موقع الحادثة.
وأضافت أن الأجهزة الأمنية باشرت عمليات البحث فور وقوع الجريمة، وتمكنت خلال ساعات من إلقاء القبض على المتهمين واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقهما.
وأشارت الشرطة إلى أن فرق التحقيق أنجزت إجراءاتها الأولية والقضائية خلال أقل من 24 ساعة، بما في ذلك تدوين أقوال المتهمين وإجراء كشف الدلالة وجمع الأدلة المتعلقة بالقضية، تمهيداً لإحالتهما إلى القضاء لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية بحقهما.
ونشرت قيادة الشرطة صوراً للمتهمين عقب القبض عليهما في موقع الجريمة، من دون كشف هويتيهما أو إظهار وجهيهما، فيما ظهر عناصر الأمن إلى جانبهما أثناء استكمال الإجراءات التحقيقية.
A family dispute over a piece of agricultural land in Iraq's Diyala province turned into a bloody crime, after an inheritance conflict resulted in the death of a father and his son, and the injury of a third person, in an incident that shocked the residents of the Muqdadiyah district and brought to light the dangers of escalating family disputes.
The crime occurred on Sunday in the village of Brawana, which is part of the Muqdadiyah district, when a disagreement among four siblings escalated into an armed confrontation, during which two brothers opened fire on their siblings, resulting in the immediate death of one brother and his son, while the other brother sustained varying injuries.
The Diyala Police Command confirmed in an official statement that the crime was carried out against the backdrop of family disputes related to inheritance, explaining that the suspects, who are brothers of the victims, fired at them before fleeing the scene of the incident.
It added that security forces began search operations immediately after the crime occurred, and within hours managed to arrest the suspects and take the necessary legal actions against them.
The police indicated that the investigative teams completed their initial and judicial procedures in less than 24 hours, including recording the statements of the suspects, conducting a scene investigation, and collecting evidence related to the case, in preparation for referring them to the judiciary for legal action.
The police command published photos of the suspects after their arrest at the crime scene, without revealing their identities or showing their faces, while security personnel were seen beside them during the completion of the investigative procedures.
