تأهل فريق باريس سان جيرمان إلى كأس السوبر الأوروبي لمواجهة أستون فيلا في مدينة سالزبورغ النمساوية شهر أغسطس القادم، بعد إحرازه لقب دوري الأبطال الأوروبي لكرة القدم للمرة الثانية تواليا، وفوزه على منافسه أرسنال الإنجليزي بركلات الترجيح بنتيجة (4- 3) في المباراة النهائية التي انتهى وقتيها الأصلي والإضافي بالتعادل (1-1)، وأقيمت على ملعب «بوشكاش أرينا» في العاصمة المجرية بودابست، إذ تضمن مشاركة النادي في هذه المواجهة مكافأة إضافية قدرها 4 ملايين يورو.
وبذلك سيحصل الفريق البارسي على 146 مليون يورو ما يعادل 657 مليون ريال، بعد تتويجه بلقب دوري أبطال أوروبا، شملت 6.5 مليون يورو مكافأة الفوز بالنهائي على أرسنال.
