في تحول لافت، قررت الفنانة المصرية منى زكي خوض تجربة مختلفة تضيف بها فصلًا جديدًا إلى مسيرتها، حيث تتجه إلى عالم الإنتاج للمرة الأولى من خلال فيلم «Alone».

ويشارك الفيلم في الدورة الخامسة من مهرجان هوليوود للفيلم العربي، المقرر انطلاقها خلال الفترة من 17 إلى 20 أبريل الجاري في لوس أنجلوس، في خطوة تعكس حضورها المتنامي على الساحة السينمائية.
عرض عالمي أول
ومن المنتظر أن يُعرض «Alone» عالميًا لأول مرة ضمن مسابقة الأفلام القصيرة، في توجه يؤكد اهتمامها بدعم الأعمال المختلفة ذات الطابع الإنساني.
قصة إنسانية عميقة
الفيلم من تأليف وإخراج منى داود، ويقدم طرحًا إنسانيًا مؤثرًا، حيث يناقش قضايا الوحدة والصراعات النفسية من خلال سيدة مسنة تعاني من الخرف وتحاول إنكار حالتها، بالتوازي مع معاناة نفسية تعيشها المرأة التي ترعاها، ليعكس العمل أوجهًا متعددة للوحدة الإنسانية.

The film will participate in the fifth edition of the Hollywood Arab Film Festival, scheduled to take place from April 17 to 20 in Los Angeles, in a move that reflects her growing presence in the cinematic scene.
World Premiere
"Alone" is expected to have its world premiere as part of the short film competition, in a direction that confirms her interest in supporting various works with a humanitarian theme.
Deep Human Story
The film is written and directed by Mona Dawood, presenting an impactful human narrative that discusses issues of loneliness and psychological struggles through an elderly woman suffering from dementia who tries to deny her condition, alongside the psychological suffering experienced by the woman who cares for her, reflecting multiple facets of human solitude.

On another note, Mona Zaki continues filming her new series "Tali' Nasel", which will be aired in the off-season. The series is directed by Hani Khalifa and written by Samaa Abdelkhaleq and Engy El Qassem.
