توفي الفنان اللبناني وليد العلايلي عن عمر يناهز 65 سنة بشكل مفاجئ في بيروت أمس (السبت).
خسارة للفن
ونعت نقابة الممثلين في لبنان الفنان الراحل ببيان رسمي، وكتب النقيب نعمة بدوي: «باسمي وباسم نقابة الممثلين في لبنان، أنعى إليكم زميلنا الفنان وليد العلايلي، وأتقدم لأسرته ومحبيه والوسط الفني بأحر وأصدق التعازي، راجياً من المولى عزّ وجل أن يتغمّده بواسع رحمته».
كما وصفت وزارة الثقافة اللبنانية وفاة العلايلي بالخسارة الكبيرة للمشهد الفني.
وأشارت في بيان اصدرته إلى تميز العلايلي بأدائه الصادق وحضوره الآسر، وترك بصمة لا تُنسى في الأعمال اللبنانية والعربية والعالمية التي شارك فيها، لافتة إلى أنه شكل جسراً ثقافياً وصل من خلاله فنه إلى جمهور متنوّع.
وبحسب معلومات متداولة، مرّ الفنان الراحل بفترة صحية حرجة رافقتها ظروف إنسانية صعبة، قبل أن يُفارق الحياة اليوم في العاصمة اللبنانية.
نجل طبيب شهير
وُلدالعلايلي في بيروت، وهو نجل الطبيب اللبناني الشهير عبد الكريم العلايلي، ودرس إدارة الأعمال، وعاش لسنوات في أوروبا، وتزوّج وأنجب ولدين، قبل أن يعود إلى لبنان مطلع الألفية الجديدة ليكرس نفسه للفن.
وبدأ الراحل التمثيل في 1999، وشارك في العديد من المسلسلات اللبنانية والعربية والعالمية، ومن أبرزها مسلسل «طالبين القرب»، و«عشق النسا».
The Lebanese artist Walid Al-Alaileh passed away unexpectedly at the age of 65 in Beirut yesterday (Saturday).
A Loss for Art
The Actors' Syndicate in Lebanon mourned the late artist in an official statement, with the syndicate's head, Ni'mah Badawi, writing: "On my behalf and on behalf of the Actors' Syndicate in Lebanon, I mourn our colleague, the artist Walid Al-Alaileh, and I extend my deepest and sincerest condolences to his family, loved ones, and the artistic community, praying to Almighty God to envelop him in His vast mercy."
The Lebanese Ministry of Culture also described Al-Alaileh's death as a significant loss to the artistic scene.
In a statement it issued, the ministry highlighted Al-Alaileh's remarkable performance and captivating presence, noting that he left an unforgettable mark on the Lebanese, Arab, and international works in which he participated, emphasizing that he formed a cultural bridge through which his art reached a diverse audience.
According to circulating information, the late artist went through a critical health period accompanied by difficult humanitarian circumstances before he passed away today in the Lebanese capital.
Son of a Renowned Doctor
Al-Alaileh was born in Beirut, and he is the son of the famous Lebanese doctor Abdul Karim Al-Alaileh. He studied business administration and lived for years in Europe, getting married and having two sons before returning to Lebanon at the beginning of the new millennium to dedicate himself to art.
The late artist began acting in 1999 and participated in many Lebanese, Arab, and international series, including the notable series "Talbin Al-Qurb" and "Ishq Al-Nisa."
