كشف الفنان المصري كريم فهمي إصابته بجلطتين في الرئة، الأمر الذي جعله يعيد التفكير في الكثير من أمور الحياة.
وقال عبر أحد برامج البودكاست: «فترة المرض كانت من أصعب اللحظات اللي عدّت عليّ، جالي جلطتين في الرئة فجأة، وساعتها حسّيت قد إيه كل الصراعات اللي بنعيشها في الحياة مالهاش أي معنى، الناس بتتخانق على حاجات تافهة، ومفيش حاجة تستحق كل ده».
وعاد بذاكرته إلى طفولته ليكشف جانبا خفيا من شخصيته، قائلا: «كنت طفلا حساسا جدا، واتعرضت للتنمّر. لسه فاكر لما مدرسة الرسم قالت قدام زمايلي إن رسمي وحش، الموقف دا فضل محفور فيا كنت دايما حاسس إني مختلف، وإن محدش فاهمني، ومع ذلك كنت مقتنع إن اللي بعمله صح».
أما عن قصة حبه لزوجته دانيا، فقال كريم فهمي إنها كانت نقطة تحوّل في حياته «دانيا كانت سندي من البداية، خطبتها وأنا ماكنش عندي أي حاجة، لكنها آمنت بيا وراهنت عليا، وفعلا رهانها كسب».
The Egyptian artist Karim Fahmy revealed that he suffered from two blood clots in his lungs, which made him rethink many aspects of life.
He said in one of the podcast programs: "The period of illness was one of the toughest moments I went through. I suddenly had two blood clots in my lungs, and at that moment, I felt how all the struggles we live through in life have no meaning. People fight over trivial things, and nothing is worth all that."
He recalled his childhood to reveal a hidden side of his personality, saying: "I was a very sensitive child and was subjected to bullying. I still remember when my art teacher told my classmates that my drawing was bad; that moment remained etched in me. I always felt different and that no one understood me, yet I was convinced that what I was doing was right."
As for his love story with his wife Dania, Karim Fahmy said it was a turning point in his life: "Dania has been my support from the beginning. I proposed to her when I had nothing, but she believed in me and took a chance on me, and indeed her bet paid off."
