ويستلهم المسلسل الذي أنتجته روتانا خليجية أجواء المسلسل الشهير «شباب البومب»، ويعد النسخة النسائية منه.
وبالتزامن مع التعليقات الحماسية التي رافقت الإعلان عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي المختلفة، بدا صناع العمل على ثقة كبيرة بالنفس، ولم يتخوفوا من المقارنة مع عمل جماهيري هو «شباب البومب» الذي حقق نجاحا كاسحا عبر 13 موسما، ما جعله أحد أبرز ملامح الدراما السعودية في الآونة الأخيرة.
وبحسب مواقع محلية، فإن المسلسل المنتظر من بطولة هيلدا ياسين، ومريم عبدالرحمن، وروان الخالد، ونجود أحمد، والعنود عبدالحكيم، وشروق سالم، إلى جانب عدد من الوجوه الصاعدة. والعمل تأليف عبدالله الوليدي، ومريم عبدالرحمن، وعبدالله العيسى.
ويحافظ «بنات البومب» على روح «شباب البومب» ولكن من زاوية أنثوية، ويسلط الضوء على مشكلات الفتيات والمراهقات وتفاصيل حياتهن اليومية في قالب اجتماعي مشوق يمزج بين الكوميديا والإثارة.

According to local websites, the anticipated series stars Hilda Yassin, Mariam Abdulrahman, Rawan Al-Khalid, Najood Ahmed, Al-Anoud Abdulhakim, and Shorouk Salem, along with several rising talents. The work is written by Abdullah Al-Waleedi, Mariam Abdulrahman, and Abdullah Al-Essa.
