يكرّم مهرجان VS-FILM للأفلام القصيرة جدا، في حفل افتتاح دورته الثانية، المقرر إقامته في الـ2 من نوفمبر القادم بمدينتي العين السخنة والجلالة بمحافظة السويس المصرية، المنتج السعودي عباس بن العباس، أحد رواد الرسوم المتحركة في العالم العربي.
وأسس «ابن العباس» كيانا فنيا ضخما أنتج العديد من أعمال الرسوم المتحركة للشاشات العربية، من أبرزها فيلم «الفارس والأميرة» الذي يعد أول فيلم عربي طويل في مجال الرسوم المتحركة، من إخراج الراحل بشير الديك، وبمشاركة محمد هنيدي، حنان ترك، عبلة كامل، وماجد الكدواني، واستغرق تنفيذ هذا العمل الفني الرائد 25 عاما حتى خرج إلى النور، ليصبح علامة بارزة في تاريخ السينما العربية.
وأعرب عباس بن العباس عن سعادته الكبيرة بهذا التكريم، معتبرا إياه «تكريماً لكل فناني الرسوم المتحركة في العالم العربي».
وأضاف في تصريحات إعلامية: «الرسوم المتحركة هي الفن الأول الذي يجذب الطفل منذ سنواته الأولى، ومن خلالها تتشكل عقولهم بما تحمله من رسائل»، مشيراً إلى أنها من أهم الفنون الدرامية التي تسهم في بناء وعي الأجيال الجديدة.
The VS-FILM Festival for very short films honors Saudi producer Abbas bin Al-Abbas at the opening ceremony of its second edition, scheduled to take place on November 2nd in the cities of Ain Sokhna and Al-Jalala in the Suez Governorate of Egypt.
“Bin Al-Abbas” established a massive artistic entity that produced numerous animated works for Arab screens, most notably the film "The Knight and the Princess," which is considered the first feature-length Arab animated film, directed by the late Bashir Al-Dik, and featuring the participation of Mohamed Henedi, Hanan Turk, Abla Kamel, and Magdy Kdwan. The production of this pioneering artistic work took 25 years to come to light, making it a landmark in the history of Arab cinema.
Abbas bin Al-Abbas expressed his great happiness with this honor, considering it "an honor for all animation artists in the Arab world."
He added in media statements: "Animation is the primary art that attracts children from their early years, and through it, their minds are shaped by the messages it carries," pointing out that it is one of the most important dramatic arts that contribute to building the awareness of new generations.
