زار رئيس الجمهورية اللبنانية جوزف عون وزوجته، صباح اليوم، الفنانة اللبنانية الكبيرة فيروز في منزلها؛ لتقديم واجب العزاء في نجلها الموسيقار الراحل زياد الرحباني، تزامناً مع مرور 40 يوماً على وفاته، وذلك قبل مغادرتهما إلى نيويورك، بحسب ما أفادت وسائل إعلام لبنانية.
استمرت الزيارة نحو ساعة، وحملت طابعاً إنسانيّاً مؤثراً، وعبّر الرئيس اللبناني وزوجته عن تقديرهما العميق لمسيرة فيروز الفنية ومكانتها الاستثنائية على مدى أكثر من نصف قرن.
وفُجع الوسط الفني والثقافي في لبنان والعالم العربي برحيل زياد الرحباني في يوليو الماضي، بعد صراع طويل مع المرض، تاركاً خلفه مسيرة استثنائية مزجت بين الجرأة الفكرية والتجديد الموسيقي، وأسهمت في تشكيل وجدان أجيال كاملة.
وترك الرحباني إرثاً موسيقياً غنياً ومتفرّداً، ما زال حاضراً في الأوساط الفنية والثقافية حتى اليوم، باعتباره رمزاً للإبداع والابتكار في لبنان والعالم العربي. ولا تزال ذكراه تشكّل محور اهتمام جمهوره ومحبي الإرث الرحباني العريق.
The President of the Lebanese Republic, Joseph Aoun, and his wife visited the great Lebanese artist Fairuz this morning at her home to offer their condolences for her late son, the musician Ziad Rahbani, coinciding with the 40th day since his passing, before their departure to New York, according to Lebanese media reports.
The visit lasted about an hour and had a deeply human touch, with the Lebanese president and his wife expressing their profound appreciation for Fairuz's artistic journey and her exceptional status over more than half a century.
The artistic and cultural community in Lebanon and the Arab world was shocked by the passing of Ziad Rahbani last July, after a long battle with illness, leaving behind an exceptional legacy that blended intellectual boldness with musical innovation, contributing to shaping the sentiments of entire generations.
