غيب الموت اليوم (الثلاثاء) الممثل والمخرج الأمريكي روبرت ريدفورد في منزله بولاية يوتا عن عمر ناهز 89 عاماً. وأعلنت عائلته أن رحيله جاء أثناء نومه محاطاً بأحبائه، في المكان الذي طالما وصفه بأنه ملاذه المفضل بين الجبال.
من شباك التذاكر إلى الأوسكار
سطع نجم ريدفورد في أفلام خالدة مثل Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) وAll the President’s Men (1976)، حيث جمع بين الكاريزما الجذابة والقدرة على نقل قضايا سياسية واجتماعية إلى جمهور واسع. وفي مطلع الثمانينات، انتقل خلف الكاميرا ليحصد جائزة الأوسكار عن فيلمه الأول كمخرج Ordinary People (1980)، الذي تناول انهيار أسرة مثالية بعد مأساة فقدان ابن.
