تمنى الفنان المصري محمد عبدالرحمن الشهير إعلاميا بـ«توتا» أن ينال فيلمه الجديد «ماما وبابا» إعجاب الجمهور السعودي بعد عرضه في صالات السينما السعودية، مؤكدا أنه يكنّ محبة خاصة للجمهور السعودي الذي وصفه بالداعم لمسيرته الفنية والمحب لأعماله.
احترافية السيناريو
وأوضح عبدالرحمن في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ»، أن أكثر ما جذبه لتقديم بطولة فيلمه الجديد «ماما وبابا» هو السيناريو المكتوب باحترافية عالية، إذ يجمع بين الكوميديا والأحداث الاجتماعية التي يفضلها الجمهور العربي.
وأضاف «توتا» أنه سعيد بردود فعل الجمهور على الفيلم الذي يُعرض حاليا في دور العرض السينمائية، متنافسا مع عدد كبير من الأفلام المصرية، وأشار إلى أنه يسعى دائما لاختيار أدوار مميزة تُمكنه من تقديم أفضل ما لديه لجمهوره.

فيلم «ماما وبابا» يجمع في بطولته إلى جانب محمد عبدالرحمن، النجمة ياسمين رئيس والفنانة وئام مجدي، وهو من إخراج أحمد القيعي وتأليف ورشة «براح»، فيما تتولى إنتاجه رحمة فلاح.
وبدأ عرض الفيلم في دور السينما السعودية في 11 سبتمبر، ليكون واحدا من أبرز أفلام الموسم الصيفي، كما حقق إيرادات متوسطة في دور العرض المصرية متنافسا وسط عدد كبير من الأفلام الفنية.
يذكر أن الفنان محمد عبدالرحمن رد في تصريح سابق لـ«عكاظ» على جدل تقليده للزعيم عادل إمام في فيلمه الجديد «ماما وبابا»، مؤكدا أن الأمر جاء بمحض الصدفة، مشددا: «لا يمكن أن أنافس الزعيم، فهو قيمة كبيرة، وكل ما أطمح له هو تقديم عمل كوميدي واجتماعي مختلف يسعد الجمهور».

Abdelrahman explained in a special statement to "Okaz" that what attracted him the most to take on the lead role in his new film "Mama and Baba" was the highly professional script, which combines comedy and social events that the Arab audience prefers.
Tota added that he is happy with the audience's reactions to the film, which is currently showing in cinemas, competing with a large number of Egyptian films. He pointed out that he always strives to choose distinctive roles that enable him to present the best of what he has to his audience.
Film Details
The film "Mama and Baba" stars, alongside Mohamed Abdelrahman, actress Yasmin Raeis and artist Wiam Magdy. It is directed by Ahmed Al-Qai'i and written by the "Barah" workshop, while it is produced by Rahma Falah.
The film began screening in Saudi cinemas on September 11, making it one of the most prominent films of the summer season, and it achieved moderate revenues in Egyptian theaters, competing among a large number of artistic films.
It is worth mentioning that artist Mohamed Abdelrahman previously responded in a statement to "Okaz" regarding the controversy over his imitation of the leader Adel Imam in his new film "Mama and Baba," confirming that it was purely coincidental, emphasizing: "I cannot compete with the leader; he is a great value, and all I aspire to is to present a different comedic and social work that delights the audience."
