كشف الفنان المصري توفيق عبدالحميد عن معاناة شقيقه المخرج أحمد عبدالحميد، بعد ابتعاده عن تقديم أعمال فنية لأكثر من 10 سنوات دون تقديم عمل فني، مطالبا المسؤولين بمساعدته للعودة إلى الساحة الفنية مرة أخرى، بعد تقديمه عدة أعمال ناجحة.
وأوضح توفيق عبدالحميد في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ» أن الحالة النفسية لشقيقه سيئة للغاية؛ نتيجة عدم ممارسة مهنة الإخراج منذ أكثر من 10 سنوات، قائلا: «معندوش شغل تاني يشتغله، وبقاله 10 سنين قاعد في البيت، مفيش شغل بيتعرض عليه رغم نجاحاته».
وأضاف عبدالحميد: «أخويا حتى لو عمل غلط في مشواره، ده إذا حصل، ما يقعدش في البيت، وأتمنى الناس تساعده ويرجع يشتغل تاني ويمتعنا بشغله».
وكتب توفيق عبدالحميد في منشور سابق، عبر حسابه الشخصي على منصة «فيسبوك»: «أحمد أخويا مخرج موهوب ودارس، وكل البشر لها أخطاء، لكنه يستحق العمل».
يشار إلى أن المخرج أحمد عبدالحميد قدم العديد من الأعمال الفنية المميزة التي حققت نجاحا واسعا حينها وتفاعلا واسعا من الجمهور، أبرزها مسلسلات «قانون المراغي»، «خاتم سليمان»، «موعد مع الوحوش»، وغيرها من الأعمال الفنية المهمة التي لاقت تفاعلا واسعا وقت عرضها.
وكشف توفيق عبدالحميد، في وقت سابق، تفاصيل استغاثته بالمسؤولين وبالتحديد رئيس مرفق مياه المنتزه في محافظة الإسكندرية، وقال في تصريح سابق لـ«عكاظ» إنه يمتلك منزلا منذ سنوات طويلة في محافظة الإسكندرية كان يطل على البحر مباشرة، ولكن لم يكن يعيش فيه منذ 15 عاما بسبب تعدد البناءات حول منزله التي جعلته غير مناسبٍ له.
The Egyptian artist Tawfiq Abdel Hamid revealed the suffering of his brother, director Ahmed Abdel Hamid, after being away from producing artistic works for more than 10 years without presenting any artistic work, calling on officials to help him return to the artistic scene once again, after presenting several successful works.
Tawfiq Abdel Hamid explained in a special statement to "Okaz" that his brother's psychological state is extremely bad due to not practicing directing for more than 10 years, saying: "He has no other job to work in, and he has been sitting at home for 10 years, with no work being offered to him despite his successes."
Abdel Hamid added: "Even if my brother made a mistake in his career, if that happened, he shouldn't be sitting at home. I hope people will help him and he can return to work and entertain us with his work."
Tawfiq Abdel Hamid wrote in a previous post on his personal account on the "Facebook" platform: "Ahmed, my brother, is a talented and educated director, and all humans make mistakes, but he deserves to work."
It is worth noting that director Ahmed Abdel Hamid has presented many distinguished artistic works that achieved wide success at the time and received extensive audience interaction, most notably the series "Law of Al-Maraghi," "Seal of Solomon," "Appointment with Monsters," and other important artistic works that garnered wide interaction during their airing.
Tawfiq Abdel Hamid revealed earlier the details of his plea to the officials, specifically the head of the water facility in the Montazah area of Alexandria Governorate, stating in a previous statement to "Okaz" that he has owned a house for many years in Alexandria that directly overlooks the sea, but he has not lived in it for 15 years due to the multiple constructions around his house that made it unsuitable for him.
