كسر الفنان العراقي سيف نبيل صمته للمرة الأولى، معلقا على الفيديو الذي أثار جدلا واسعا وجمعه بالفنانة اللبنانية سيرين عبدالنور وهي ترقص إلى جانبه في مناسبة خاصة ببيروت بحضور زوجها، إذ واجه الثنائي موجة انتقادات حادة عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
وفي تصريحاته لبرنامج "ET بالعربي"، أكد سيف نبيل أن علاقته بسيرين عبدالنور وزوجها فريد رحمة «طيبة وعائلية» منذ سنوات، مشددا على أن التفاعل في الفيديو كان «عفويا وغير مصطنع». وأضاف: «سيرين إنسانة عفوية مثل الطفل، تجمعنا صداقة قديمة، وما حدث كان في أجواء عائلية».
كما نفى ما أُشيع عن غضب زوج سيرين، قائلا: «فريد هادئ بطبعه، والله يحفظهم، ما شاء الله عليهم يجننون». وعن إمكانية تعاون فني مع سيرين، أكد سيف نبيل أن الفكرة «واردة جدا»، مضيفا: «أتشرف بالغناء معها، فهي فنانة كبيرة صاحبة خبرة طويلة ومهارات استثنائية أمام الكاميرا».
وكانت سيرين عبدالنور قد ردّت على الانتقادات بمنشور عبر «فيسبوك» قالت فيه: «كنت أعتقد أن معاملتي للناس بلطف ستقابل بالمثل، لكن الحياة علمتني عكس ذلك».

The duo faced a wave of harsh criticism on social media.
In his statements to the program "<span dir=""LTR"">ET </span> بالعربي", Saif Nabil confirmed that his relationship with Cyrine Abdelnour and her husband Fares Rahma has been "good and familial" for years, emphasizing that the interaction in the video was "spontaneous and not contrived." He added: "Cyrine is a spontaneous person like a child; we share a long-standing friendship, and what happened was in a family atmosphere."
He also denied rumors about Cyrine's husband's anger, saying: "Fares is calm by nature, and may God protect them; they are amazing, mashallah." Regarding the possibility of a artistic collaboration with Cyrine, Saif Nabil confirmed that the idea is "very likely," adding: "I would be honored to sing with her; she is a great artist with extensive experience and exceptional skills in front of the camera."
Cyrine Abdelnour had responded to the criticisms with a post on "Facebook," saying: "I used to think that treating people kindly would be reciprocated, but life has taught me otherwise."
