تعود إلى الواجهة إحدى أبرز القضايا الإنسانية والاجتماعية التي هزّت المجتمع السعودي قبل أكثر من 20 عامًا، من خلال الفيلم الروائي السعودي «سوار»، الذي ينطلق عرضه في صالات السينما بالمملكة يوم الأربعاء 31 يوليو الجاري.
الفيلم، الذي أخرجه أسامة الخريجي، يجسد القصة الحقيقية لتبديل طفلين حديثي الولادة في أحد مستشفيات نجران، حين جرى عن طريق الخطأ تسليم كل طفل إلى أسرة أخرى ليعيش كل منهما سنوات طويلة مع عائلة ليست عائلته الحقيقية، قبل أن يكشف فحص الحمض النووي (DNA) عام 2007 الحقيقة الصادمة.
ويتناول «سوار» الأبعاد النفسية والاجتماعية والإنسانية لهذه القضية، مسلطًا الضوء على تداعياتها على الأسر والأبناء في قالب درامي مؤثر. وتم تصوير العمل بين محافظة العُلا في السعودية وجمهورية تركيا، في محاولة لإبراز جماليات المكان وإثراء الهوية البصرية للفيلم.
وقال المخرج السعودي أسامة الخريجي لـ«عكاظ»: «فيلم سوار هو محاولة جادة لتمكين القصة السعودية وإبراز تنوعها الثقافي والإنساني بلغة سينمائية خاصة. حرصنا على تقديم عمل يحمل هوية بصرية ودرامية تليق بالسعودية وتُمهد لانطلاقة محلية نحو العالمية».
وأضاف: «نؤمن أن القصة حين تُروى بصدق من بيئتها، تصل إلى كل إنسان وتمنح الفيلم السعودي أسلوبه المميز»، داعيًا الجمهور لمشاهدة العمل السينمائي الذي يجمع بين الإبداع الفني والبعد الإنساني والاجتماعي في دور العرض بتاريخ 31 يوليو الجاري.
One of the most prominent humanitarian and social issues that shook Saudi society more than 20 years ago returns to the forefront through the Saudi feature film "Sewar," which will begin screening in cinemas across the Kingdom on Wednesday, July 31.
The film, directed by Osama Al-Khreeji, depicts the true story of the swapping of two newborns in a hospital in Najran, where each child was mistakenly handed over to another family, living for many years with a family that was not their biological one, until a DNA test in 2007 revealed the shocking truth.
"Sewar" addresses the psychological, social, and humanitarian dimensions of this issue, shedding light on its repercussions on families and children in an impactful dramatic framework. The film was shot between Al-Ula Governorate in Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkey, in an attempt to highlight the beauty of the locations and enrich the film's visual identity.
Saudi director Osama Al-Khreeji told "Okaz": "The film Sewar is a serious attempt to empower the Saudi story and highlight its cultural and humanitarian diversity through a unique cinematic language. We were keen to present a work that carries a visual and dramatic identity worthy of Saudi Arabia and paves the way for a local launch towards global recognition."
He added: "We believe that when a story is told sincerely from its environment, it reaches every person and gives the Saudi film its distinctive style," inviting the audience to watch the cinematic work that combines artistic creativity with humanitarian and social dimensions in theaters on July 31.
