في ليلة استثنائية جمعت الفن والوفاء، احتفلت روتانا بذكرى ميلاد فنان العرب محمد عبده، ضمن حفل جماهيري ضخم أقيم في مسرح «الخبر أرينا» بالمنطقة الشرقية، وذلك في إطار فعاليات «عيدكم الخبر» خلال عطلة عيد الأضحى المبارك، وبرعاية الهيئة العامة للترفيه.
وجاءت هذه المفاجأة تقديرًا لمسيرة محمد عبده الفنية الطويلة، إذ بادرت روتانا بقيادة الرئيس التنفيذي للمجموعة سالم الهندي بتنظيم احتفالية خاصة على خشبة المسرح، وسط حضور جماهيري غفير، علِم مسبقًا أن التذاكر نفدت بالكامل قبل موعد الحفل بثلاثة أسابيع.
وقد عبّر محمد عبده عن امتنانه للمبادرة، قائلاً إن هذه اللفتة تعني له الكثير، موجّهًا شكره للجمهور الذي سانده ورافقه لأكثر من 50 عامًا، شكّل خلالها ملامح الأغنية السعودية وارتقى بها إلى آفاق عربية وعالمية.
وشارك فنان العرب في تدشين المسرح الجديد «الخبر أرينا»، الذي يُعد إضافة نوعية للبنية التحتية الترفيهية في المملكة.
وتحدّث محمد عبده خلال المناسبة عن ألبومه الجديد «أحد سأل عني 2025»، قبل أن يصعد إلى المسرح ليبدأ ليلة طربية خالدة بقيادة المايسترو السعودي هاني فرحات وفرقته الموسيقية، مفتتحًا الحفل بأغنية «صوتك يناديني»، ثم قدّم مجموعة من أشهر أعماله، منها: يا غايبة، أنت السما، ارفض المسافة، بنت النور، يا جنة الدنيا، على البال، مجموعة إنسان، أبعتذر، لي ثلاث أيام، أبي منها الخبر.
وخلال فقرات الحفل، صعد سالم الهندي إلى المسرح برفقة تورتة عيد الميلاد ليُفاجئ «أبو نورة» أمام الجمهور، وسط تصفيق حار وحضور صوتي مميز للفنانة السعودية الشابة زينة عماد التي سبق أن شاركته في حفلات سابقة، وتمنّت له مع الجمهور والمشاركين دوام الصحة وطول العمر.
On an exceptional night that brought together art and loyalty, Rotana celebrated the birthday of the Artist of the Arabs, Mohammed Abdu, during a massive public concert held at the "Khobar Arena" in the Eastern Province, as part of the "Eidkom Khobar" events during the Eid al-Adha holiday, under the auspices of the General Entertainment Authority.
This surprise came in appreciation of Mohammed Abdu's long artistic journey, as Rotana, led by the CEO of the group, Salem Al-Hindi, took the initiative to organize a special celebration on stage, amidst a large audience, knowing in advance that tickets had sold out three weeks before the concert.
Mohammed Abdu expressed his gratitude for the initiative, stating that this gesture means a lot to him, and he thanked the audience who has supported and accompanied him for over 50 years, during which he shaped the features of Saudi song and elevated it to Arab and global horizons.
The Artist of the Arabs participated in the inauguration of the new "Khobar Arena," which is considered a qualitative addition to the entertainment infrastructure in the Kingdom.
During the occasion, Mohammed Abdu spoke about his new album "Ahad Sa'al 'Anni 2025," before taking to the stage to begin an unforgettable musical night led by Saudi maestro Hani Farhat and his musical band, opening the concert with the song "Sawtak Yunadini," and then presenting a selection of his most famous works, including: Ya Ghaybah, Enta Al-Sama, Irfud Al-Masafah, Bint Al-Noor, Ya Jannat Al-Dunya, Ala Al-Bal, Majmou'at Insan, Ab'itadhir, Li Thalath Ayam, Abi Minha Al-Khbar.
During the concert segments, Salem Al-Hindi took to the stage with a birthday cake to surprise "Abu Noura" in front of the audience, amidst warm applause and the distinctive vocal presence of the young Saudi artist Zina Imad, who had previously shared the stage with him in past concerts, wishing him, along with the audience and participants, continued health and long life.
