رحلت عن عالمنا، صباح اليوم، سيدة المسرح العربي الفنانة الكبيرة القديرة سميحة أيوب عن عمر ناهز 93 عامًا، بعد صراع مع المرض، تاركة خلقها إرثًا فنيًّا كبيرًا يضم العديد من الأعمال المميزة في مشوارها الفني الطويل.
وقال أشرف زكي في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ»: توفيت سميحة أيوب بشكل مفاجئ وجارٍ استخراج شهادة الوفاة، وتحديد وقت الصلاة عليها ومكان العزاء، مطالبًا الجمهور بالدعاء لها بالرحمة والمغفرة.
يذكر أن سميحة أيوب وُلدت في حي شبرا بمدينة القاهرة، وهي صاحبة أطول مسيرة فنية في تاريخ السينما العربية، كانت بدايتها الاحترافية من خلال فيلم المتشردة عام 1947م، تجاوزت سنوات عملها السينمائي والتلفزيوني 77 عامًا.
في عام 1949م دخلت سميحة أيوب المعهد العالي للتمثيل الذي أسسه زكي طليمات وتتلمذت على يده، وبالتوازي مع دراستها كانت تعمل في المسرح والسينما، فقدمت خلال فترة الخمسينات العديد من الأعمال، منها: فيلم شاطئ الغرام في مطلع عام 1950م، ثم في عام 1951م شاركت في فيلم ورد الغرام، وقد ذاعت نجوميتها في أوائل الخمسينيات، وتخرجت من المعهد العالي للتمثيل عام 1953م. انضمت إلى المسرح القومي المصري، وصارت مديرة له مرتين في الفترة بين 1975 -1989م، كما تولت إدارة المسرح الحديث بين عامي 1972 و1975م، وبلغ رصيدها المسرحي على مدار مشوارها الفني نحو 170 مسرحية.
This morning, the great and esteemed artist, the lady of Arab theater, Samia Ayoub, passed away at the age of 93, after a battle with illness, leaving behind a significant artistic legacy that includes many distinguished works throughout her long artistic career.
Ashraf Zaki stated in a special comment to "Okaz": Samia Ayoub passed away unexpectedly, and the death certificate is being processed, along with the timing of her prayer and the location of the condolence gathering, urging the public to pray for her mercy and forgiveness.
It is worth mentioning that Samia Ayoub was born in the Shubra neighborhood of Cairo, and she holds the record for the longest artistic career in the history of Arab cinema, beginning her professional journey with the film "The Vagabond" in 1947. Her years of work in cinema and television exceeded 77 years.
In 1949, Samia Ayoub entered the Higher Institute of Acting, founded by Zaki Tolimat, where she studied under him. Concurrently with her studies, she worked in theater and cinema, presenting numerous works during the 1950s, including the film "Beach of Love" at the beginning of 1950, and in 1951, she participated in the film "The Flower of Love." Her stardom rose in the early 1950s, and she graduated from the Higher Institute of Acting in 1953. She joined the Egyptian National Theater and became its director twice between 1975 and 1989, and she also managed the Modern Theater between 1972 and 1975, with her theatrical repertoire totaling around 170 plays throughout her artistic journey.
