طالب أهالي حي النعمان بمخطط الرونة في محافظة خميس مشيط، بلدية المحافظة بالاستفادة من المساحة الواسعة المجاورة للحي وتحويلها إلى ممشى رياضي وحديقة عامة، بما يوفر متنفسًا مناسبًا للأسر والسكان ويعزز جودة الحياة داخل الحي.
وأوضح محمد بن عبدالله آل مسفر، أن الحي يشهد تزايدًا في عدد السكان، في حين يفتقر إلى المرافق الترفيهية والرياضية التي تلبي احتياجاتهم، مؤكدًا أن إنشاء ممشى وحديقة سيشجع الأهالي على ممارسة رياضة المشي والأنشطة البدنية، مما ينعكس إيجابًا على الصحة العامة ويسهم في الحد من الأمراض الناتجة عن قلة الحركة.
وأشار صالح يحيى العمري إلى أن وجود حديقة ومسطحات خضراء سيهيئ بيئة آمنة ومناسبة للعائلات والأطفال لقضاء أوقاتهم، كما يسهم في تحسين المشهد الحضري ورفع مستوى الخدمات المقدمة للسكان.
من جانبه، أكد عبدالله بن حسن آل سحاق، أن المشروع يتماشى مع مستهدفات جودة الحياة وتعزيز الصحة المجتمعية، معربًا عن أمل الأهالي في أن تنظر الجهات المختصة في مطلبهم وتستثمر هذه المساحة بما يخدم سكان الحي والأحياء المجاورة.
وأضاف مبارك بن سعيد الشهراني، أن تطوير الموقع وتحويله إلى مرفق عام سيحد من انتشار الحشرات والزواحف والثعابين، التي تتخذ من المكان مأوى لها، كما سيقضي على الروائح غير المرغوبة، الناتجة عن تراكم المخلفات، وهو ما يشكل مصدر قلق للسكان المجاورين.
Residents of Al-Nu'man neighborhood in the Al-Runah scheme in Khamis Mushait province have called on the municipality to utilize the vast area adjacent to the neighborhood and transform it into a sports walkway and a public park, providing a suitable outlet for families and residents and enhancing the quality of life within the neighborhood.
Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Masfer explained that the neighborhood is witnessing an increase in the population, while it lacks recreational and sports facilities that meet their needs. He emphasized that the establishment of a walkway and park would encourage residents to engage in walking and physical activities, positively impacting public health and helping to reduce diseases resulting from a lack of movement.
Saleh Yahya Al-Omari pointed out that the presence of a park and green spaces would create a safe and suitable environment for families and children to spend their time, as well as contribute to improving the urban landscape and raising the level of services provided to residents.
For his part, Abdullah bin Hassan Al-Suhak confirmed that the project aligns with the objectives of enhancing quality of life and promoting community health, expressing the residents' hope that the relevant authorities will consider their request and invest in this area to serve the residents of the neighborhood and surrounding areas.
Mubarak bin Said Al-Shahrani added that developing the site and transforming it into a public facility would limit the spread of insects, reptiles, and snakes that have taken the place as their shelter, as well as eliminate unwanted odors resulting from the accumulation of waste, which is a source of concern for neighboring residents.
