من فاتحة القول، إن كل دولة تتجسس على بقية الدول..
وهذا القول ليس له محمل على العدائية وإنما تقرير حالة، والتجسس ظرفية ملزمة للحماية الأمنية بغض النظر عما يحدثه العميل أو الجاسوس، وللخطر الفادح لأمثال هؤلاء الجواسيس كانت العقوبة (الدستورية) لأي بلد هو إعدام الجاسوس، إذ إن فعله يؤدي إلى أضرار بالأمن الوطني (هذا إذا كان الجاسوس ينتمي إلى بلد آخر)، أما الجاسوس الذي يتجسس على بلاده فيتم تصنيف جريمته على أنها خيانة عظمى، وهذا النوع قليل فيه الإعدام.
والحروب المتبادلة بين الدول تظهر قوة الجاسوسية كسلاح فتاك يفوق الأسلحة المدمرة في النيل من مقدرات الخصم.. والزمن في صيرورته يخلق أدوات تجسسية متقدمة تتناسب مع عصرنة الواقع.

فمع تطور وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي غدا العالم قرية صغيرة، بل غرفة أو صالة واحدة الكل يسمع الكل، ومن وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي يحدث التأثير المباشر للرأي العام، وكثير من الدول المتقدمة تحذّر من هذه الوسيلة الخارقة لعقول الناس، التي بدأت في استمالة الناس إليها، ويمكن لنا الآن النظر للوضع الذي انتهجته جل التطبيقات التي تطالبك بالانضمام إليها مقابل السماح لها باستخدام معلوماتك الشخصية، وأصبح الناس الثروة البشرية المليونية كرأس مال لتلك المواقع، وكل ما تكتبه أو تبثه من أفكار يصبح ملكاً لتلك الشركات، التي تبيعك في المزاد العلني أو السري، فمن إستراتيجية الدول الآن الاستفادة من كل ما يكتب أو يصور لبناء التوجهات للمجتمعات في الصراع الدولي من خلال البيئة التواصلية من أجل التأثير الجماهيري ورفع نسب التوازن الاجتماعي ارتفاعاً أو انخفاضاً وفق ما تريده تلك الدول.
ولهذا قلت: إياك أن تكون جاسوساً على بلدك.
وهو تنبيه لفئات كثيرة من المشاركين في تلك المواقع بأن تكون حريصة على بلدها، من خلال ما يكتب أو يصور.. الأدوات اختلفت فيمكن أن تكون جاسوساً على بلدك من غير أن تتنبه لفعلتك المشينة ضد وطنك.
