أكد الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون أمس (الجمعة) لوفد من التحالف العربي الكردي في سورية، دعم باريس لمكافحة تنظيم «داعش»، فيما تعتبر هذه القوى أن حلفاءها الغربيين تخلوا عنها. وأوضحت الرئاسة الفرنسية أن ماكرون أكد لهؤلاء الممثلين عن قوات سورية الديموقراطية «استمرار الدعم الفعلي لفرنسا في مكافحة داعش الذي ما زال يشكل تهديدا للأمن الجماعي، وخصوصا في إدارة المقاتلين الإرهابيين الذين أسروا، وعائلاتهم». وخلال اللقاء، لفت الرئيس الفرنسي إلى أن باريس ستقدم دعما ماليا «لتلبية الحاجات الإنسانية والدفع باتجاه الاستقرار الاقتصادي والاجتماعي للسكان المدنيين في سورية».

وفي الأول من أبريل، أعلن وزير الخارجية الفرنسي جان إيف لودريان مساعدة إنسانية بقيمة مليون يورو للنازحين في المخيمات في شمال شرق سورية، خصوصا مخيم الهول الذي يتكدس فيه الآلاف من زوجات وأطفال مقاتلين أجانب في تنظيم الدولة الإسلامية.


ومنذ إعلان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب في ديسمبر عزمه سحب القوات من سورية، يلف الغموض مصير القوات الكردية التي شاركت في المعارك ضد تنظيم داعش، إلى جانب الولايات المتحدة. وأعلنت قوات سورية الديموقراطية في 23 مارس إسقاط الدولة المزعومة التي أعلنها التنظيم سنة 2014 على الأراضي التي سيطر عليها في العراق وسورية.
