أكد وكيل وزارة الأوقاف اليمنية الدكتور مختار الرباش، ان المؤتمر الجنوبي – الجنوبي المقرر انعقاده في الرياض، يعد محطة مفصلية من شأنها تحصين القضية الجنوبية من محاولات التوظيف الخارجي التي سعت خلال مراحل سابقة إلى استغلالها كأداة لتصفية حسابات إقليمية ودولية على حساب أمن استقرار اليمن.
وقال الرباش في تصريح لـ «عكاظ» إن انعقاد هذا المؤتمر بروح جامعة ومسؤولة سيعيد توجيه البوصلة نحو مصالح أبناء الجنوب، ويغلق المسارات التي غذّت الانقسام وأربكت المشهد السياسي والأمني، مثمناً حرص المملكة العربية السعودية على التعامل مع القضية الجنوبية ضمن إطارها السليم والصحيح حسب تطلعات أبنائها، وبما يراعي سيادة اليمن ضد التدخلات الخارجية، ويحفظ أمنها الوطني، ويصون في الوقت ذاته الأمن الخليجي والعربي من أي تداعيات أو مغامرات غير محسوبة.
وأشاد وكيل الوزارة بحكمة رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي الدكتور رشاد العليمي في تقديم مقاربة سياسية هادئة جنّبت عدن الانزلاق إلى الصراع والفوضى، وحرص على حقن الدماء والحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار في مرحلة بالغة الحساسية.
The Deputy Minister of Awqaf in Yemen, Dr. Mukhtar Al-Rabash, confirmed that the Southern-Southern Conference scheduled to be held in Riyadh is a pivotal moment that will fortify the Southern issue against external exploitation attempts that have sought, during previous stages, to use it as a tool for settling regional and international scores at the expense of Yemen's security and stability.
Al-Rabash stated in a statement to "Okaz" that holding this conference with a unified and responsible spirit will redirect the focus towards the interests of the people of the South, closing the paths that have fueled division and confused the political and security scene. He praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to addressing the Southern issue within its correct and proper framework according to the aspirations of its people, while respecting Yemen's sovereignty against external interventions, preserving its national security, and simultaneously safeguarding Gulf and Arab security from any repercussions or uncalculated adventures.
The Deputy Minister commended the wisdom of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, in presenting a calm political approach that spared Aden from slipping into conflict and chaos, and his commitment to preventing bloodshed and maintaining security and stability during a highly sensitive phase.
