تحولت سيارة عائلية إلى ما يشبه الركام بعد اقتحام دب أسود ضخم لها واحتجازه داخلها، في واقعة غريبة خلفت أضراراً كبيرة وأثارت اهتمام المتابعين بسبب حجم الدمار الذي سببه الحيوان خلال محاولاته المتكررة للخروج.
ووقعت الحادثة في مدينة جونو بولاية ألاسكا الأمريكية، بعدما تمكن الدب من الدخول إلى سيارة كانت متروكة دون إغلاق محكم خلال ساعات الليل المتأخرة.
وبحسب التفاصيل، وجد الحيوان نفسه عالقاً داخل المركبة وعاجزاً عن الخروج، ما دفعه إلى العبث بمحتوياتها وتمزيق أجزاء واسعة من المقاعد والتجهيزات الداخلية، إضافة إلى إلحاق أضرار بالهيكل البلاستيكي والمعدني للسيارة.
وانتبه عدد من الجيران إلى وجود الدب داخل المركبة، فحاولوا لفت الانتباه إلى الموقف عبر إطلاق أبواق السيارات، قبل إبلاغ الشرطة التي سارعت إلى الموقع للتعامل مع الحادث.
وخلال محاولاته التحرر، ألحق الدب مزيداً من التلفيات بعدما مزق أسلاكاً داخلية في السيارة، الأمر الذي أدى إلى تعطلها وأفقد الأبواب قدرتها على الفتح باستخدام المفتاح.
واستغرقت عملية إنقاذ الحيوان نحو خمس دقائق فقط، إذ نجح رجال الشرطة في فتح أحد الأبواب، ليغادر الدب المكان مسرعاً دون تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية.
من جانبه، تعامل مالك السيارة مايكل ويلسون مع الواقعة بروح ساخرة، مشيراً إلى أن السيارة أثبتت متانة لافتة رغم الأضرار الكبيرة التي لحقت بها، موضحاً أن التأمين الأساسي لا يغطي سوى جزء محدوداً من الخسائر.
ورجح ويلسون أن يكون تزايد نشاط الدببة في المنطقة خلال الفترة الحالية مرتبطاً بندرة مصادر الغذاء الطبيعية نتيجة كثافة الثلوج وتأخر حلول الربيع، داعياً السكان إلى إغلاق سياراتهم جيداً وعدم ترك أي أطعمة بداخلها لتجنب حوادث مماثلة.
A family car turned into what resembled a wreck after a massive black bear broke into it and got trapped inside, in a bizarre incident that caused significant damage and attracted the attention of onlookers due to the extent of the destruction caused by the animal during its repeated attempts to escape.
The incident occurred in Juneau, Alaska, after the bear managed to enter a car that had been left unlocked during the late night hours.
According to the details, the animal found itself stuck inside the vehicle and unable to get out, prompting it to rummage through its contents and tear apart large sections of the seats and interior fittings, in addition to causing damage to the car's plastic and metal structure.
Several neighbors noticed the bear inside the vehicle, so they tried to draw attention to the situation by honking car horns, before notifying the police who quickly arrived at the scene to handle the incident.
During its attempts to free itself, the bear caused further damage after it tore internal wires in the car, which led to its malfunction and rendered the doors unable to open with the key.
The rescue operation for the animal took only about five minutes, as the police succeeded in opening one of the doors, allowing the bear to leave the area quickly without any reported human injuries.
For his part, the car owner Michael Wilson dealt with the incident with a humorous spirit, noting that the car proved remarkably sturdy despite the significant damage it sustained, explaining that the basic insurance only covers a limited portion of the losses.
Wilson suggested that the increased bear activity in the area during this period may be related to the scarcity of natural food sources due to heavy snowfall and the delayed arrival of spring, urging residents to securely close their cars and not leave any food inside to avoid similar incidents.
