أصيب 38 شخصاً بجروح طفيفة إثر انهيار أجزاء من مواد تشطيب السقف في مبنى تجاري بمدينة دايغو جنوب شرقي كوريا الجنوبية، اليوم (السبت)، فيما نُقل 9 مصابين إلى المستشفيات لتلقي العلاج.
وأفادت السلطات المحلية بأن الحادث وقع نحو الساعة 10:16 صباحاً بالتوقيت المحلي، في الطابق الثاني من مبنى مكوّن من 4 طوابق، أثناء إقامة فعالية لبيع أدوات المطبخ استهدفت كبار السن.
وأضافت أن 66 شخصاً كانوا داخل المبنى وقت وقوع الحادث، وتمكنوا من إخلائه، فيما باشرت فرق الإطفاء عمليات البحث والتأكد من عدم وجود مصابين آخرين.
وأكدت السلطات أن الإصابات المسجلة طفيفة، ولا توجد حالات حرجة، فيما يجري التحقيق لتحديد أسباب انهيار أجزاء السقف.
Thirty-eight people were slightly injured after parts of the ceiling finishing materials collapsed in a commercial building in Daegu, southeastern South Korea, today (Saturday), while 9 injured individuals were transported to hospitals for treatment.
Local authorities reported that the incident occurred around 10:16 AM local time, on the second floor of a 4-story building, during an event selling kitchen tools aimed at the elderly.
They added that 66 people were inside the building at the time of the incident and were able to evacuate, while firefighting teams began search operations to ensure there were no other injured individuals.
Authorities confirmed that the recorded injuries were minor, and there were no critical cases, while an investigation is underway to determine the causes of the ceiling collapse.
