في واقعة مأساوية تحولت إلى لغز يثير الغضب والفضول، تفجرت في اليمن قضية الطفلة رجاء منصور (12 عاماً) بعد أن كادت تفاصيل رحيلها أن تطوى وتدفن تحت غطاء القضاء والقدر لولا تدخل درامي أنقذ الحقيقة من الضياع.
بدأت خيوط الحكاية في مديرية كسمة بمحافظة ريمة، حيث تلقت الجهات الأمنية بلاغاً عاجلاً من زوجة والد الطفلة يفيد بالعثور على رجاء جثة هامدة مشنوقة داخل إحدى غرف المنزل. وما إن استلم الأب المغترب خارج البلاد الخبر، حتى سارع بإصدار توجيهات فورية تقضي بدفن الجثمان سريعاً واعتبار الحادثة انتحاراً، وهو ما دفع إدارة البحث الجنائي للتهيئة لإغلاق الملف نهائياً.
لكن الرياح جاءت بما لا تشتهي سفن طامسي الحقيقة، إذ وقف خال الفتاة (التي فقدت والدتها منذ سنوات) بحزم رافضاً إجراءات الدفن المتسرعة. وأصر على توقيف كل شيء وفتح تحقيق جاد حول ملابسات الوفاة التي وقعت داخل منزل الأب، في ظل وجود زوجته وأشقائها.
أعاد هذا الموقف توجيه بوصلة القضية، حيث استجابت السلطات للضغط المجتمعي والعائلي، ليتم التحفظ على الجثمان في مستشفى الثورة بالحديدة بانتظار تقرير الطب الشرعي الحاسم، بينما تجري التحقيقات على قدم وساق مع زوجة الأب والأشقاء لكشف الغموض الذي يلف رحيل الفتاة، والإجابة عن السؤال الأبرز الذي يتردد على كل الألسنة: هل كانت النهاية فعلاً انتحاراً كما روت زوجة الأب، أم أن وراء الكواليس جريمة مدبرة وفقاً لرواية خال الطفلة؟
In a tragic incident that turned into a mystery stirring anger and curiosity, the case of the 12-year-old girl, Raja Mansour, erupted in Yemen after the details of her departure nearly faded and were buried under the guise of fate and destiny, were it not for a dramatic intervention that saved the truth from being lost.
The threads of the story began in the Kasma district of Al-Rima governorate, where the security authorities received an urgent report from the child's father's wife indicating that Raja had been found dead, hanging in one of the rooms of the house. As soon as the father, who was working abroad, received the news, he hurried to issue immediate instructions to bury the body quickly and to consider the incident a suicide, which prompted the criminal investigation department to prepare to close the case permanently.
However, the winds did not blow as the concealers of the truth wished, as the girl's uncle (who had lost his mother years ago) firmly stood against the hasty burial procedures. He insisted on halting everything and opening a serious investigation into the circumstances of the death that occurred inside the father's house, in the presence of his wife and siblings.
This stance redirected the course of the case, as the authorities responded to the community and family pressure, leading to the retention of the body at Al-Thawra Hospital in Hodeidah, awaiting the decisive forensic report, while investigations were underway with the father's wife and siblings to uncover the mystery surrounding the girl's departure, and to answer the most pressing question on everyone's lips: Was the end really a suicide as the father's wife recounted, or was there a premeditated crime behind the scenes according to the uncle's account?
