قُتل رجل أمنٍ عراقي أثناء محاولته فضّ نزاعٍ عشائري مسلّح اندلع بسبب خلافٍ على مباراةٍ لكرة القدم، بعدما تحوّل الخلاف الرياضي إلى اشتباكٍ دموي استدعى تدخلاً أمنيًا عاجلًا.
ووفق مصدرٍ أمني لوكالة (شفق نيوز)، وقع النزاع في ساعةٍ متأخرة بين عشيرتين في ناحيتي الفضلية والسديناوية بمحافظة ذي قار (جنوبي العراق)، حيث تعرضت القوة الأمنية التي حاولت إنهاء الاشتباك لإطلاق نارٍ كثيف أدى إلى مقتل أحد أفراد الدورية.
وأوضح المصدر أن السيطرة على الموقف لم تتم إلا بعد وصول تعزيزاتٍ عسكرية إلى موقع الحادثة، مشيرًا إلى أن جذور المشاجرة تعود إلى خلاف بسيط حول مباراة لكرة القدم تطور سريعًا إلى مواجهة مسلحة.
وتشهد مناطق عراقية مختلفة نزاعات عشائرية متكررة تتسبب في سقوط ضحايا من المدنيين ورجال الأمن، وسط مطالباتٍ مستمرة بفرض القانون وحصر السلاح بيد الدولة للحدِّ من هذه المواجهات التي تودي بحياة العشرات سنويًا.
An Iraqi security man was killed while attempting to resolve an armed tribal dispute that erupted over a disagreement regarding a football match, after the sports dispute escalated into a bloody clash that required urgent security intervention.
According to a security source for Shafaq News Agency, the conflict occurred late at night between two tribes in the districts of Al-Fadlaya and Al-Sudaniya in Dhi Qar province (southern Iraq), where the security force that attempted to end the clash came under heavy gunfire, resulting in the death of one member of the patrol.
The source clarified that control of the situation was only achieved after military reinforcements arrived at the scene of the incident, noting that the roots of the brawl stemmed from a minor disagreement over a football match that quickly developed into an armed confrontation.
Various regions in Iraq witness recurring tribal disputes that result in casualties among civilians and security personnel, amid ongoing calls for the enforcement of law and the restriction of weapons to the state to limit these confrontations that claim the lives of dozens annually.
