شهدت محافظة الدقهلية شمالي مصر حادثة مأسوية، رغم تكاتف أهالي المنطقة لمنع كارثة على شريط القطار، لكن القصة انتهت بمأساة داخل كابينة شاحنة كانت عالقة في مسار القطار.
تحول «مزلقان السكة الحديد» بمركز الجمالية إلى ساحة مواجهة مع الوقت بعد تعرض شاحنة نقل ثقيلة لعطل مفاجئ واصطدامها بالسور المحاذي للمزلقان، لتتوقف على قضبان السكة الحديد بالتزامن مع اقتراب قطار الركاب.
أدرك المارة وركاب السيارات خطورة الموقف مع تعالي صوت صفارة القطار، ليتحرك العشرات في تكتل جماعي سريع:
زحزحة الشاحنة: اندفع الأهالي نحو الشاحنة المحملة بأطنان البضائع لدفعها بعيداً عن حافة القضبان.
نجاح الخطة: أثمر المجهود الجماعي عن إزاحة الشاحنة مسافة كافية لخروجها من حيز مسار القطار، ليمر الأخير بسلام ودون أي خسائر في الأرواح أو الممتلكات.
وبينما كان الشارع يحتفل بنجاح عملية الإنقاذ، اكتشف المتواجدون أن السائق لم يخرج من الشاحنة وكان فاقداً للوعي بعدما شل الخوف حركته.
وكشفت التقارير الطبية عن التفاصيل التالية:
- صدمة الرعب: تعرض السائق لحالة هلع شديدة أثناء توقف الشاحنة على القضبان.
- توقف القلب: أدت الضغوط العصبية إلى هبوط حاد في الدورة الدموية والتنفسية، ما تسبب في توقف مفاجئ بعضلة القلب أدى إلى وفاته.
أضفت ظروف السائق بعداً إنسانياً أعمق على الفاجعة، إذ تبين أنه اشترى هذه الشاحنة قبل أشهر قليلة مقابل أكثر من خمسة ملايين جنيه عبر التزامات مالية ثقيلة، لتكون مصدر الدخل الوحيد لأسرته.
وانتقلت الأجهزة الأمنية وسيارات الإسعاف إلى موقع الحادثة، وجرى نقل جثمان السائق إلى المستشفى لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية، وسط حالة من الحزن عمّت أرجاء المحافظة المصرية.

Passersby and car passengers realized the danger of the situation as the sound of the train's whistle grew louder, prompting dozens to quickly gather:
Shifting the truck: The locals rushed towards the truck loaded with tons of goods to push it away from the edge of the tracks.
Success of the plan: The collective effort resulted in moving the truck a sufficient distance to clear it from the train's path, allowing the train to pass safely without any loss of life or property.
While the street celebrated the success of the rescue operation, those present discovered that the driver had not exited the truck and was unconscious after fear had paralyzed his movement.
Medical reports revealed the following details:
- Shock of terror: The driver experienced a severe panic attack while the truck was stopped on the tracks.
- Cardiac arrest: The nerve pressure led to a sharp drop in blood circulation and respiration, causing a sudden stop of the heart muscle that resulted in his death.
The circumstances of the driver added a deeper human dimension to the tragedy, as it turned out that he had purchased this truck just a few months ago for over five million pounds through heavy financial commitments, making it the sole source of income for his family.
Security forces and ambulances moved to the scene of the incident, and the driver’s body was transferred to the hospital to complete the legal procedures, amid a state of mourning that spread across the Egyptian governorate.
