بدأت نيابة أسوان التحقيق في واقعة غامضة بعد العثور على هيكل عظمي لشاب متغيّب منذ ثلاثة أشهر، معلقًا بأحد أبراج الضغط العالي، في حادثة رجّحت التحريات أنها ناجمة عن صعق كهربائي أثناء محاولة سرقة مكونات من البرج.
وجاء اكتشاف الواقعة عندما لاحظ أحد فنيي شركة الكهرباء، خلال أعمال صيانة في نطاق مركز دراو بمحافظة أسوان، وجود بقايا آدمية أسفل البرج، فأبلغ الجهات الأمنية التي انتقلت فورًا إلى المكان وبدأت إجراءات الفحص.
وأظهرت المعاينة وجود هيكل عظمي متحلل، إلى جانب بقايا ملابس وهاتف محمول، فيما كشفت التحريات الأولية أن الجثمان يعود لشاب عاطل من إحدى قرى مركز كوم أمبو، سبق الإبلاغ عن تغيبه منذ نحو ثلاثة أشهر.
وبحسب ما توصلت إليه مباحث الشرطة، يرجّح أن الشاب حاول تسلق برج الضغط العالي بغرض سرقة بعض المكونات، قبل أن يتعرّض لصعق كهربائي أدى إلى وفاته في الحال، وظل جسده معلقًا في مكانه طوال تلك الفترة دون أن يلاحظه أحد.
ومع مرور الوقت، تحللت الجثة وتساقطت أجزاء منها على الأرض، إلى أن لفتت انتباه الفني الذي أبلغ السلطات، لتبدأ عملية جمع بقايا الهيكل والملابس وفحص الهاتف المحمول، تمهيدًا لاستكمال الإجراءات وتحديد الهوية بصورة نهائية.
The Aswan Prosecution has begun an investigation into a mysterious incident after the skeletal remains of a young man who had been missing for three months were found hanging from a high-voltage tower, in an incident that investigations suggest was caused by electric shock during an attempted theft of components from the tower.
The discovery of the incident occurred when one of the technicians from the electricity company noticed human remains beneath the tower while conducting maintenance work in the Draa Center area of Aswan Governorate. He reported it to the security authorities, who immediately moved to the location and began examination procedures.
The inspection revealed a decomposed skeleton, along with remnants of clothing and a mobile phone. Preliminary investigations indicated that the body belonged to an unemployed young man from one of the villages in the Kom Ombo Center, who had been reported missing about three months ago.
According to what the police investigations revealed, it is likely that the young man attempted to climb the high-voltage tower with the intention of stealing some components before being electrocuted, which led to his immediate death. His body remained hanging in place for that entire period without anyone noticing.
As time passed, the corpse decomposed and parts of it fell to the ground until it caught the attention of the technician who reported it to the authorities, leading to the process of collecting the remains of the skeleton and clothing and examining the mobile phone, in preparation for completing the procedures and confirming the identity definitively.
