وكان العم قد تحدث في تصريحات سابقة عن علاقته بها، مشيرًا إلى أنها عاشت معه خلال فترة من مراهقتها، وأنه كان يتولى عددًا من مسؤوليات رعايتها اليومية. كما اتهمها بالتخلي عن أفراد الأسرة وعدم التواصل معهم بالشكل الذي كان يتوقعه، رغم الدور الذي لعبه في حياتها قبل الشهرة.

According to the circulated statements, Georgina's uncle, the partner of football star Cristiano Ronaldo, claimed: that he took care of her and her sister during their teenage years, covering their expenses and providing for their basic needs, emphasizing that he continued to support them until they became independent. He expressed his dissatisfaction - which he described as "ingratitude" - claiming that Georgina cut off communication with the family after she became a globally recognized figure.
The uncle had previously spoken about his relationship with her, noting that she lived with him during part of her adolescence, and that he took on several responsibilities for her daily care. He also accused her of abandoning family members and not communicating with them in the way he had expected, despite the role he played in her life before fame.
