كشفت «قوقل» حزمة جديدة من المزايا لنظام «أندرويد» ضمن تحديث سبتمبر، توسّع من خلالها حضور الذكاء الاصطناعي «Gemini» في الاستخدام اليومي للهواتف، عبر أدوات تشمل تذكّر أماكن الأغراض الشخصية، ومساعدة المكفوفين وضعاف البصر، والتخفيف من دوار الحركة أثناء استخدام الهاتف في السيارة.
وتتيح إحدى المزايا للمستخدم مطالبة «Gemini» بتذكّر مكان أغراض مهمة، مثل جواز السفر أو المفاتيح الاحتياطية، وحفظ موقعها في «Find Hub» مع إمكانية إضافة صورة واسترجاع المعلومات لاحقاً. ومن المقرر إتاحتها للأجهزة العاملة بنظام Android 16 والإصدارات الأحدث في الدول المدعومة.
كما قدّمت «قوقل» ميزة «Motion Assist» لهواتف Android 17، التي تستخدم فقاعات متحركة تتفاعل مع حركة المركبة للمساعدة في تقليل دوار الحركة.
ويضم التحديث «Guided vision»، التي تستخدم الكاميرا و«Gemini Live» لتقديم أوصاف صوتية للمشاهد وقراءة النصوص والتعرّف على الأشياء، إلى جانب دمج «Google Keep» داخل «Google Messages» لإنشاء الملاحظات والقوائم وتحريرها دون مغادرة المحادثة، مع خيارات لتخصيص خلفيات المحادثات وألوانها.
Google has revealed a new suite of features for the Android system in the September update, expanding the presence of the AI "Gemini" in the daily use of phones, through tools that include remembering the locations of personal items, assisting the blind and visually impaired, and reducing motion sickness while using the phone in the car.
One of the features allows users to ask "Gemini" to remember the location of important items, such as passports or spare keys, and save their location in "Find Hub" with the option to add a picture and retrieve the information later. It is set to be available for devices running Android 16 and newer versions in supported countries.
Google also introduced the "Motion Assist" feature for Android 17 phones, which uses moving bubbles that interact with the vehicle's movement to help reduce motion sickness.
The update includes "Guided vision," which uses the camera and "Gemini Live" to provide audio descriptions of scenes, read texts, and recognize objects, along with integrating "Google Keep" within "Google Messages" to create and edit notes and lists without leaving the conversation, with options to customize chat backgrounds and colors.
