أعلنت وزارة الخارجية النيبالية أن ما لا يقل عن 590 أجنبياً من 39 دولة لا يزالون مفقودين عقب الفيضان المدمر الذي ضرب نيبال الأسبوع الماضي.
وأكدت الوزارة، في بيان اليوم، إنقاذ أكثر من 10 آلاف شخص، بينهم أكثر من 323 أجنبياً خلال الفيضانات، مضيفة: «لا يزال نحو 590 مواطناً أجنبياً من 39 دولة في عداد المفقودين».
وكانت حصيلة ضحايا الانهيارات الطينية والفيضانات التي اجتاحت مناطق عدة في نيبال ارتفعت في وقت سابق اليوم، إلى 903 حالات وفاة، فيما لا يزال 4247 شخصاً في عداد المفقودين، وفق أحدث بيانات السلطة الوطنية للحد من مخاطر الكوارث وإدارتها في البلاد.
The Nepalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that at least 590 foreigners from 39 countries are still missing following the devastating flood that struck Nepal last week.
The ministry confirmed in a statement today that more than 10,000 people have been rescued, including over 323 foreigners during the floods, adding: "About 590 foreign nationals from 39 countries are still missing."
The death toll from the landslides and floods that swept through several areas in Nepal rose earlier today to 903, while 4,247 people are still reported missing, according to the latest data from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority in the country.
