في مشهد غير مألوف أثار استنفاراً أمنياً واسعاً في العاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن، ألقت شرطة مجمع الكابيتول القبض على سائق شاحنة قادم من أقصى الغرب الأمريكي، بعد اكتشاف أداة إعدام تاريخية مجهزة بنصل معدني حاد داخل صندوق شاحنته المتوقفة على بعد خطوات من مبنى المحكمة العليا.
اشتبهت الدوريات التابعة لشرطة الكابيتول بشاحنة متوقفة في مكان يمنع فيه ركن السيارات بشارع «إيست كابيتول»، وعند تفقد صندوقها الخلفي كانت المفاجأة الشديدة:
- المحتوى الصادم: هيكل خشبي ضخم مرتفع يحمل نصل إعدام معدني حقيقي (مقصلة)، مثبت بشكل ظاهر في صندوق الشاحنة.
- هوية الموقوف: رجل يُدعى «فيلان تام دوي لي»، يبلغ من العمر 35 عاماً، وينحدر من مدينة جوليان بولاية كاليفورنيا.
- التهم الموجهة: حيازة سلاح خطر مخصص لإلحاق الأذى، والتوقف غير القانوني في نطاق أمني حساس.
وتواصل الأجهزة الأمنية والمحققون مراجعة السجل الشخصي والنشاط الرقمي للمتهم، في محاولة لفك شفرة هذه الرحلة الشاقة التي قطع خلالها أكثر من 4,000 كيلومتر بشاحنته المحملة بـ«رمز قطع الرؤوس» القادم من كاليفورنيا وصولاً إلى قلب المقرات السياسية والقضائية.
ورغم عدم إعلان السلطات حتى الآن عن وجود تهديدات صريحة وجهها المتهم لأي من القضاة أو المسؤولين، إلا أن وجود أداة ترتبط تاريخياً بـ«عهد الإرهاب» في هذا الموقع الحساس رفع درجة الجاهزية الأمنية لحين كشف دوافعه الحقيقية.
In an unusual scene that triggered a wide security alert in the U.S. capital, Washington, the Capitol Police arrested a truck driver coming from the far west of the United States after discovering a historical execution device equipped with a sharp metal blade inside the back of his truck, parked just steps away from the Supreme Court building.

Security agencies and investigators are continuing to review the personal record and digital activity of the accused, in an attempt to decode this arduous journey during which he traveled over 4,000 kilometers with his truck loaded with a "decapitation symbol" from California to the heart of political and judicial headquarters.
Although authorities have not yet announced any explicit threats made by the accused against any judges or officials, the presence of a device historically linked to the "era of terror" in this sensitive location has raised the level of security readiness until his true motives are uncovered.
