هرب لاعب منتخب مصر للمصارعة زياد حجاج من مقر بعثة بلاده في سلوفاكيا، عقب انتهاء مشاركته في بطولة العالم للمصارعة للشباب، في واقعة دفعت وزارة الشباب والرياضة المصرية إلى فتح تحقيق واتخاذ إجراءات قانونية.
وأعلنت وزارة الشباب والرياضة المصرية متابعتها بشكل عاجل واقعة هروب اللاعب من مقر إقامة البعثة المصرية، مؤكدة التواصل الفوري مع مسؤولي الاتحاد المصري للمصارعة ورئيس البعثة، وتوجيههم باتخاذ جميع الإجراءات القانونية والتحقيق في ملابسات الواقعة.
وأوضحت الوزارة أنه تم تحرير محضر رسمي بشأن هروب اللاعب، مع التأكيد على استكمال الإجراءات القانونية بحقه، وإعداد تقرير تفصيلي يتضمن جميع ملابسات الواقعة والإجراءات التي تم اتخاذها.
وبحسب الوزارة، تضمنت إجراءات سفر البعثة المصرية إلى سلوفاكيا إقرارات وتعهدات رسمية تلزم جميع أفرادها بالعودة إلى مصر عقب انتهاء المنافسات، وفق القواعد المنظمة لسفر البعثات الرياضية المصرية إلى الخارج.
وكشفت الوزارة أن ولي أمر اللاعب زياد حجاج وقع قبل سفره إلى سلوفاكيا إقرارًا بتحمل مسؤولية عودة اللاعب إلى مصر، وهو ما يأتي ضمن الضوابط والإجراءات التي تطبقها الجهات الرياضية المصرية على أفراد المنتخبات الوطنية المشاركين في البطولات الخارجية.
ووجهت وزارة الشباب والرياضة بموافاتها بجميع التفاصيل والمستندات المتعلقة بالواقعة، للوقوف على المسؤوليات كاملة، سواء فيما يتعلق باللاعب أو بالإجراءات التنظيمية والإدارية الخاصة بالبعثة المصرية.
كما أكدت الوزارة توجيهها لجميع الاتحادات الرياضية المصرية بضرورة الالتزام بالضوابط القانونية والإدارية المنظمة لسفر اللاعبين وأعضاء البعثات إلى الخارج، والتأكد من استيفاء الإقرارات والتعهدات المطلوبة ومتابعة أفراد البعثات حتى عودتهم إلى مصر.
وتأتي واقعة هروب اللاعب المصري عقب مشاركة منتخب بلاده للمصارعة للشباب في بطولة العالم التي أقيمت في سلوفاكيا، حيث شارك أعضاء البعثة المصرية في المنافسات الدولية تحت مظلة الاتحاد المصري للمصارعة.
وشددت وزارة الشباب والرياضة المصرية على أن تمثيل المنتخبات الوطنية يمثل شرفًا ومسؤولية، مؤكدة أنها لن تتهاون في تطبيق القواعد واللوائح ومحاسبة أي طرف يثبت تقصيره أو مخالفته، مع الحفاظ على حقوق اللاعبين واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة في ضوء نتائج التحقيق.
Egyptian wrestling team player Ziad Haggag escaped from his country's delegation headquarters in Slovakia, following his participation in the World Youth Wrestling Championship, an incident that prompted the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports to open an investigation and take legal action.
The Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports announced that it is urgently monitoring the incident of the player's escape from the Egyptian delegation's accommodation, confirming immediate communication with officials from the Egyptian Wrestling Federation and the head of the delegation, directing them to take all legal measures and investigate the circumstances of the incident.
The ministry clarified that an official report regarding the player's escape has been filed, emphasizing the continuation of legal procedures against him and the preparation of a detailed report that includes all the circumstances of the incident and the actions taken.
According to the ministry, the procedures for the Egyptian delegation's travel to Slovakia included official declarations and commitments that require all its members to return to Egypt after the competitions, in accordance with the regulations governing the travel of Egyptian sports delegations abroad.
The ministry revealed that the guardian of player Ziad Haggag signed a declaration before his travel to Slovakia, assuming responsibility for the player's return to Egypt, which is part of the controls and procedures applied by Egyptian sports authorities to members of national teams participating in international tournaments.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports has directed that it be provided with all details and documents related to the incident, to fully understand the responsibilities, whether concerning the player or the organizational and administrative procedures related to the Egyptian delegation.
The ministry also confirmed its directive to all Egyptian sports federations to adhere to the legal and administrative regulations governing the travel of players and delegation members abroad, ensuring that the required declarations and commitments are fulfilled and monitoring delegation members until their return to Egypt.
The incident of the Egyptian player's escape comes after his country's youth wrestling team participated in the World Championship held in Slovakia, where members of the Egyptian delegation competed in international competitions under the umbrella of the Egyptian Wrestling Federation.
The Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports emphasized that representing national teams is an honor and a responsibility, asserting that it will not tolerate any violations of the rules and regulations and will hold accountable any party found negligent or in violation, while preserving the rights of the players and taking the necessary legal actions based on the investigation results.
