أكد لـ«عكاظ» مصدر مطلع على أوضاع نادي الاتحاد أن النجم الهولندي ستيفن بريغوين تبقت على نهاية عقده 10 أشهر، ولن يتم التفريط في اللاعب الذي يعتبر أحد ركائز الفريق الأساسية، مبيناً أن عقده سينتهي في صيف 2027.
وواصل اللاعب بريغوين تألقه مع الفريق الاتحادي، إذ نجح في تسجيل «هاتريك» في مرمى فريق الحزم قاد به العميد للفوز بنتيجة اللقاء 3-2، والوصول للنقطة السابعة في دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
وكان بريغوين افتتح أهدافه الموسم الحالي بتسجيل هدفين في شباك فريق الجزيرة الإماراتي في اللقاء الذي انتهى لصالح العميد بنتيجة 4-1، وتأهل للمشاركة في دوري أبطال آسيا لأندية النخبة.
