قرر المجلس الأعلى لتنظيم الإعلام برئاسة المهندس خالد عبدالعزيز، حفظ الشكوى المقدمة من، المدير الفني لمنتخب مصر الكابتن حسام حسن، ضد بعض وسائل الإعلام ومنصات التواصل الاجتماعي، بشأن ما تضمنته من تناول لأخبار اعتبرها تعديًا على حرمة حياته الخاصة.
حماية الحياة الخاصة
وأوضح تقرير الفحص الصادر عن لجنة الشكاوى برئاسة الإعلامي عصام الأمير بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للرصد، أن الشكوى جاءت مجهلة دون تحديد المشكو في حقه أو واقعة بعينها، إضافة إلى أن المواد المتداولة عبر المنصات والمواقع الإلكترونية استندت إلى مقاطع مصورة في أماكن عامة، ما يخرجها من نطاق حماية الحياة الخاصة إلى العلانية.
مساس بحرية الصحافة
وبحسب تقرير الفحص، فإن التفاصيل ذاتها تكرر تداولها عبر حسابات شخصية لأفراد من أسرة الشاكي، إلى جانب ظهور الممثلين القانونيين لأفراد الأسرة وتحدثهم في وسائل الإعلام، وهو ما يوحي بالرغبة في إعلان تفاصيل الوقائع أو عدم الممانعة في ذلك.
وأكد المجلس أن تدخله ضد وسائل الإعلام في هذه الحالة يمثل مساسًا بحرية الصحافة والإعلام المكفولة وفق الأطر القانونية والدستورية، وهو ما ينأى عنه، وبناءً عليه وافق المجلس على حفظ الشكوى.
The Supreme Council for Media Regulation, chaired by Engineer Khaled Abdelaziz, decided to dismiss the complaint submitted by the head coach of the Egyptian national team, Captain Hossam Hassan, against some media outlets and social media platforms regarding their coverage of news that he considered an infringement on the sanctity of his private life.
Protection of Private Life
The examination report issued by the Complaints Committee, chaired by media figure Essam El Amir in coordination with the General Administration for Monitoring, clarified that the complaint was vague, lacking specific details about the accused or a particular incident. Additionally, the materials circulated on platforms and websites were based on video clips taken in public places, which moves them out of the scope of private life protection into the public domain.
Impact on Press Freedom
According to the examination report, the same details were repeatedly circulated through personal accounts of individuals from the complainant's family, alongside the appearance of legal representatives of family members speaking in the media, which suggests a desire to disclose the details of the incidents or a lack of objection to doing so.
The Council affirmed that its intervention against the media in this case represents an infringement on press and media freedom guaranteed by legal and constitutional frameworks, which it seeks to avoid. Consequently, the Council agreed to dismiss the complaint.
