في تفاصيل حادثة تقشعر لها الأبدان صدمت الشارع العراقي، لم تكن جثة الطفلة الصغيرة التي أُحضرت إلى المستشفى سوى الخيط الأول الذي قاد الأجهزة الأمنية في محافظة بابل إلى الكشف عن مأساة إنسانية أشد قسوة، كانت تدور فصولها المظلمة خلف الأبواب المغلقة.
بدأت القضية عندما تلقت شرطة مركز الشوملي بلاغاً عن وصول طفلة تبلغ من العمر 3 سنوات فقط (من مواليد 2021) بعدما فارقت الحياة. وعقب معاينة الجثة من قبل الأدلة الجنائية، ظهرت كدمات واضحة على ساعديها وجرح نائر أعلى حاجبها الأيمن، مما دفع الأجهزة الأمنية للتحرك فوراً بشبهة جنائية.
انتقل فريق أمني مكثف إلى منزل عائلة الطفلة لمتابعة المعاينة وجمع الأدلة، لكن المفاجأة التي كانت بانتظار الضباط داخل الدار تجاوزت كل التوقعات، حيث عُثر داخل المنزل على الشقيقة الكبرى للضحية (10 سنوات)، وهي مقيدة بسلسلة حديدية ثقيلة من قدميها ومحبوسة في ظروف إنسانية قاسية جداً.
وسارع رجال الأمن إلى تحرير الطفلة المحتجزة ونقلها فوراً إلى المستشفى، حيث أثبت التقرير الطبي وجود جروح وكدمات متعددة في جسدها نتيجة التكبيل والتعنيف المستمر.
أمام هذه المأساة المزدوجة التي هزت الرأي العام، اتخذ قاضي التحقيق المختص إجراءات قانونية عاجلة:
- التشريح العدلي: تحويل جثة الطفلة الصغرى إلى الطبابة العدلية لتحديد السبب الدقيق للوفاة.
- الاعتقال المباشر: توقيف القائمين على الدار رسمياً وفق أحكام المادة (405) من قانون العقوبات العراقي (المتعلقة بالقتل العمد).
- مواصلة التحقيق: استمرار التحقيقات الأمنية المكثفة لتحديد المسؤوليات الجنائية كاملة بحق المتورطين في هذه الجريمة المروعة.

The case began when the police at the Al-Shumali station received a report about a 3-year-old girl (born in 2021) who had passed away. After the body was examined by forensic experts, clear bruises were found on her forearms and a laceration above her right eyebrow, prompting the security forces to act immediately on suspicion of foul play.
A large security team moved to the family home of the girl to continue the examination and collect evidence, but the surprise awaiting the officers inside the house exceeded all expectations, as they found the victim's older sister (10 years old) chained by heavy iron shackles at her feet and held in extremely harsh conditions.
