لقي مسؤول ملف شمال سيناء في السفارة الفلسطينية بالقاهرة مصرعه، اليوم (الخميس)، إثر حادثة تصادم مروعة وقعت على طريق «لحفن – الريسة الجديد» بمحافظة شمال سيناء، أسفر كذلك عن وفاة سائقه وإصابة 5 أشخاص آخرين.
وأسفرت الحادثة عن وفاة محمد شعت، الشهير بـ«أبو كريم»، منسق ومسؤول ملف شمال سيناء في السفارة الفلسطينية بالقاهرة، وسائقه وليد النحال، متأثرين بالإصابات التي لحقت بهما جراء التصادم بين سيارة ربع نقل وسيارة أجرة.
وتلقت غرفة عمليات هيئة الإسعاف في شمال سيناء بلاغًا بوقوع حادثة تصادم على الطريق، وعلى الفور جرى الدفع بـ6 سيارات إسعاف إلى موقع الحادثة، للتعامل مع المصابين ونقلهم إلى المستشفى.
ونقلت سيارات الإسعاف المصابين الخمسة إلى مستشفى العريش العام لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة، فيما جرى اتخاذ الإجراءات المقررة حيال جثماني المتوفين.
وتعاملت أطقم هيئة الإسعاف المصرية مع تداعيات الحادثة، بالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية، فيما تواصل الأجهزة المختصة إجراءاتها للوقوف على ملابسات التصادم وتحديد أسبابه وكيفية وقوعه.
وتأتي الحادثة في منطقة شمال سيناء، التي تحظى بأهمية خاصة في سياق العلاقات المصرية الفلسطينية، نظرًا لموقعها الحدودي مع قطاع غزة، وما يرتبط بها من ملفات إنسانية وأمنية وحركة عبور ومساعدات.
وتتابع السفارة الفلسطينية بالقاهرة، بالتنسيق مع الجهات المصرية المعنية، عددًا من الملفات المرتبطة بأوضاع الفلسطينيين في شمال سيناء والتواصل بشأن احتياجاتهم والقضايا ذات الصلة.

The head of the North Sinai file at the Palestinian embassy in Cairo was killed today (Thursday) in a horrific collision that occurred on the "Lahfan - Al-Risa Al-Jadid" road in North Sinai, which also resulted in the death of his driver and the injury of 5 other people.

The ambulances transported the five injured individuals to Al-Arish General Hospital to receive the necessary medical care, while the required procedures were taken regarding the bodies of the deceased.
The teams of the Egyptian ambulance authority dealt with the aftermath of the incident in coordination with the relevant authorities, while the specialized agencies continue their procedures to ascertain the circumstances of the collision and determine its causes and how it occurred.
This incident comes in the North Sinai area, which holds special importance in the context of Egyptian-Palestinian relations, due to its border location with the Gaza Strip and the associated humanitarian, security, transit, and aid issues.
