كشفت النيابة العامة المصرية تفاصيل جديدة بشأن حادثة التصادم المروعة التي وقعت بمنطقة (الدواويس) في محافظة الإسماعيلية، وأودت بحياة 18 شخصًا وأصيب عشرات آخرون، موضحة أن انفجار الإطار الخلفي الأيمن لإحدى مركبتي نقل العمال تسبب في انحرافها إلى الاتجاه المقابل واصطدامها بالمركبة الأخرى.
ووجه الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي، بسرعة الوقوف على أسباب الواقعة، وإنهاء الإجراءات القانونية بدقة وكاملها في أقرب وقت، إلى جانب توفير الرعاية الطبية للمصابين وصرف التعويضات بشكل فوري لأسر المتوفين والمصابين.
النيابة تكشف سبب حادثة «الدواويس»
وقالت النيابة العامة المصرية في بيان رسمي، اليوم (الأربعاء): إنها تلقت صباح أمس (الثلاثاء) إخطارًا بوقوع حادثة تصادم بين مركبتي ربع نقل محملتين بعمال اليومية في صندوقيهما الخلفيين، بدائرة مركز القصاصين بمحافظة الإسماعيلية. وأوضحت أن تحقيقاتها خلصت إلى أن سبب الحادث تمثل في انفجار الإطار الخلفي الأيمن لإحدى المركبتين، ما أدى إلى انحرافها إلى الاتجاه المقابل واصطدامها بالمركبة الأخرى.
وأسفرت الحادثة، وفق ما أعلنته النيابة العامة، عن وفاة 18 شخصًا وإصابة 30 آخرين، تتراوح أعمارهم بين تسع سنوات و50 عامًا، حيث جرى نقلهم إلى المستشفيات الحكومية بمحافظة الإسماعيلية.
معاينة موقع الحادثة وسؤال المصابين
وبادرت مجموعة من أعضاء النيابة العامة بالانتقال إلى موقع الحادثة لمعاينته، فيما توجه أعضاء آخرون إلى المستشفيات لمناظرة جثامين المتوفين وسؤال المصابين وذويهم. وأفادت النيابة بأنه تعذر سؤال 20 من المصابين بسبب سوء حالتهم الصحية، ومن بينهم سائقا المركبتين، في حين تبين خروج خمسة مصابين آخرين من المستشفيات بعد تحسن حالتهم. كما استمعت النيابة العامة إلى أقوال خمسة مصابين آخرين، الذين أيدوا ما توصلت إليه التحقيقات بشأن كيفية وقوع الحادث، وقرروا تصالحهم عن إصاباتهم.
وأمرت النيابة العامة، على الفور، بالتصريح بدفن جثامين المتوفين، وندب المهندس الفني المختص لفحص المركبتين، إلى جانب أخذ عينة من كل من السائقين للتحقق من مدى تعاطيهما المواد المخدرة. كما أمرت النيابة بسؤال بقية المصابين فور استقرار حالتهم الصحية، مؤكدة أن التحقيقات لا تزال مستمرة.
تفاصيل الحادثة وتحرك الأجهزة الأمنية
وكان 18 عاملًا قد لقوا مصرعهم وأصيب 30 آخرون؛ وفق الحصيلة الأولية المعلنة في البيانات الرسمية، في حادثة مرورية مروعة وقعت اليوم، أمام محطة كهرباء الشباب بوصلة (الدواويس)، التابعة لدائرة مركز القصاصين بمحافظة الإسماعيلية المصرية.
وتلقت الأجهزة الأمنية إخطارًا بالحادثة، وعلى الفور انتقلت القوات الأمنية إلى موقع الواقعة، بالتزامن مع الدفع بعدد من سيارات الإسعاف لنقل المصابين والتعامل مع تداعيات الحادثة.
وجرى نقل المصابين إلى مستشفى القصاصين المركزي والمجمع الطبي لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة، فيما نُقلت جثامين المتوفين والتحفظ عليها في ثلاجات المستشفيات لحين استكمال الإجراءات القانونية والتعرف على الضحايا.
وحررت الجهات المختصة محضرًا بالواقعة، فيما أُخطرت النيابة العامة لمباشرة التحقيقات والاستماع إلى أقوال المصابين حول تفاصيل وملابسات الحادث، واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.
The Egyptian Public Prosecution has revealed new details regarding the horrific collision that occurred in the (Dawawis) area in Ismailia Governorate, which resulted in the deaths of 18 people and injuries to dozens more. It clarified that the explosion of the right rear tire of one of the workers' transport vehicles caused it to veer into oncoming traffic and collide with the other vehicle.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has directed an urgent investigation into the causes of the incident and to complete the legal procedures accurately and fully as soon as possible, in addition to providing medical care for the injured and promptly compensating the families of the deceased and injured.
The Prosecution Reveals the Cause of the "Dawawis" Incident
The Egyptian Public Prosecution stated in an official announcement today (Wednesday) that it received notification yesterday morning (Tuesday) about a collision between two pickup trucks loaded with daily laborers in their rear boxes, within the jurisdiction of the Qassasin Center in Ismailia Governorate. It explained that its investigations concluded that the cause of the accident was the explosion of the right rear tire of one of the vehicles, which led to it veering into oncoming traffic and colliding with the other vehicle.
According to the announcement by the Public Prosecution, the incident resulted in the deaths of 18 people and injuries to 30 others, aged between nine and 50 years, who were transported to government hospitals in Ismailia Governorate.
Site Inspection and Questioning the Injured
A group of Public Prosecution members promptly went to the site of the incident to inspect it, while other members went to the hospitals to examine the bodies of the deceased and question the injured and their families. The Prosecution reported that it was impossible to question 20 of the injured due to their poor health condition, including the drivers of the vehicles, while it was found that five other injured individuals had been discharged from the hospitals after their conditions improved. The Public Prosecution also heard the statements of five other injured individuals, who supported the findings of the investigations regarding how the accident occurred and stated that they had settled regarding their injuries.
The Public Prosecution immediately ordered the authorization for the burial of the deceased bodies and appointed a technical engineer to examine the two vehicles, in addition to taking samples from both drivers to verify whether they had consumed narcotic substances. The Prosecution also ordered the questioning of the remaining injured individuals once their health conditions stabilized, confirming that the investigations are still ongoing.
Details of the Incident and Security Forces' Response
Eighteen workers lost their lives and 30 others were injured, according to the initial toll announced in official statements, in a horrific traffic accident that occurred today in front of the Youth Power Station on the (Dawawis) link, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Qassasin Center in Ismailia Governorate, Egypt.
The security forces received notification of the incident, and immediately dispatched security personnel to the site, along with several ambulances to transport the injured and manage the aftermath of the incident.
The injured were transported to Qassasin Central Hospital and the Medical Complex to receive the necessary medical care, while the bodies of the deceased were transferred and stored in hospital refrigerators until the legal procedures are completed and the victims are identified.
The relevant authorities have prepared a report on the incident, and the Public Prosecution has been notified to commence investigations and listen to the statements of the injured regarding the details and circumstances of the accident, and to take the necessary legal actions.
