خصصت الهيئة العامة للطرق 3.13 مليار ريال لتنفيذ 100 مشروع للصيانة الوقائية في مختلف مناطق المملكة خارج النطاق العمراني، استناداً إلى نتائج مسح وتقييم شبكة الطرق خلال 2025.
وكشفت الهيئة لـ«عكاظ» أن المشاريع تشمل صيانة الطرق والكشط وإعادة السفلتة وصيانة الجسور والعبارات وتحسين التقاطعات، بهدف رفع جاهزية الشبكة وإطالة عمرها التشغيلي.
وتصدرت الرياض بـ32 مشروعاً، تلتها القصيم بـ13 مشروعاً، ثم الشرقية بـ12 مشروعاً، فيما توزعت بقية المشاريع وفق حاجات الشبكة ونتائج المسح.
رصد الأضرار
وشملت أعمال المسح رصد الأضرار السطحية لـ215.894 كيلومتراً/مسار، وقياس مقاومة الانزلاق لـ15.149 كيلومتراً/مسار، ومعامل الوعورة لـ6.803 كيلومترات/مسار، إضافة إلى مسح 14.800 كيلومتر/مسار من الطرق الترابية، وتقييم 12 ألف عبارة و40 جسراً.
وأوضحت الهيئة أن الصيانة باتت تعتمد على البيانات لتحديد الأولويات واختيار المعالجة المناسبة، فيما أسهمت تقنيات إعادة تدوير طبقات الرصف في رفع كفاءة الإنفاق بنسبة 44%.
كما ارتفعت نسبة التزام مقاولي الصيانة إلى 91% في 2025، مقارنة بـ89.4% في 2024، و86.4% في 2023، بالتزامن مع بدء قياس الامتثال لكود الطرق السعودي.
The General Authority for Roads has allocated 3.13 billion riyals to implement 100 preventive maintenance projects in various regions of the Kingdom outside urban areas, based on the results of the road network survey and assessment during 2025.
The authority revealed to "Okaz" that the projects include road maintenance, milling and resurfacing, bridge and culvert maintenance, and intersection improvements, aiming to enhance the network's readiness and extend its operational lifespan.
Riyadh topped the list with 32 projects, followed by Qassim with 13 projects, and then the Eastern Province with 12 projects, while the remaining projects were distributed according to the network's needs and survey results.
Damage Assessment
The survey work included assessing surface damage over 215,894 kilometers/lane, measuring skid resistance over 15,149 kilometers/lane, and roughness coefficients over 6,803 kilometers/lane, in addition to surveying 14,800 kilometers/lane of unpaved roads and evaluating 12,000 culverts and 40 bridges.
The authority explained that maintenance has become data-driven to determine priorities and select appropriate treatments, while the use of recycling techniques for pavement layers has improved spending efficiency by 44%.
Additionally, the compliance rate of maintenance contractors rose to 91% in 2025, compared to 89.4% in 2024 and 86.4% in 2023, coinciding with the start of measuring compliance with the Saudi Road Code.
