لم يكن المسن الكفيف يتوقع أن يتحول منزله، المكان الذي يفترض أن يشعر فيه بالأمان، إلى مسرح لاعتداء عنيف. فقد اقتحم ثلاثة أشخاص مسكنه في ولاية وهران غربي الجزائر، واعتدوا عليه بالضرب في محاولة لقتله، قبل أن يستولوا على أمواله ومجوهراته.
وبعد انتشار مقطع فيديو يوثق الجريمة عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، فتحت الأجهزة الأمنية في وهران تحقيقاً عاجلاً، بالتزامن مع شكوى تقدم بها الضحية إلى السلطات، أفاد فيها بتعرضه للاعتداء وسرقة مبلغ مالي تجاوز 51 مليون سنتيم، إلى جانب كمية من المجوهرات.
وباشرت المصالح الأمنية تحرياتها لتحديد هوية المتورطين، مستفيدة من المعاينات الميدانية والوسائل التقنية، وتمكنت خلال وقت قصير من توقيف ثلاثة مشتبه بهم، بينهم قاصر.
كما أسفرت العملية عن استرجاع المبلغ المالي والمجوهرات المسروقة بالكامل، قبل إحالة المشتبه بهم أمام وكيل الجمهورية لدى محكمة فلاوسن، لمواجهة تهم تتعلق بتكوين جمعية أشرار، والسرقة الموصوفة المقترنة بالعنف الشديد، إلى جانب محاولة القتل العمدي.
The blind elderly man did not expect that his home, the place where he should feel safe, would turn into a scene of violent assault. Three individuals broke into his residence in the city of Oran, western Algeria, and attacked him in an attempt to kill him, before stealing his money and jewelry.
After a video documenting the crime spread across social media platforms, the security forces in Oran launched an urgent investigation, coinciding with a complaint filed by the victim to the authorities, in which he reported being assaulted and robbed of an amount exceeding 51 million centimes, along with a quantity of jewelry.
The security services began their inquiries to identify the perpetrators, utilizing field observations and technical means, and were able to arrest three suspects, including a minor, in a short period of time.
The operation also resulted in the full recovery of the stolen money and jewelry, before the suspects were brought before the public prosecutor at the Flawson Court to face charges related to forming a criminal gang, aggravated robbery accompanied by extreme violence, as well as attempted murder.
