حقق فريق طبي متخصص في جراحة المخ والأعصاب بالمستشفيات الجامعية في محافظة سوهاج إنجازاً طبياً لافتاً، بعدما نجح في إجراء جراحة دقيقة ومعقدة لاستخراج رصاصة طائشة استقرت داخل مخ طفل يبلغ من العمر سبعة أعوام.
وشكّلت الحالة تحدياً جراحياً بالغ الخطورة نظراً لحساسية موضع الرصاصة داخل أنسجة المخ، ما استدعى تدخلاً دقيقاً باستخدام أحدث التقنيات الطبية، مع وضع خطة علاجية متكاملة لضمان إزالة المقذوف دون الإضرار بخلايا المخ أو التسبب في أي مضاعفات عصبية.
وأكدت إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية أن الطفل خضع فور وصوله لسلسلة من الفحوصات والأشعة التشخيصية، قبل أن يتولى فريق طبي متعدد التخصصات الإعداد للعملية، التي أُجريت وفق أعلى المعايير الطبية، وانتهت بنجاح كامل.
وتمكن الفريق الجراحي من استخراج الرصاصة بدقة متناهية مع الحفاظ على سلامة أنسجة المخ، دون حدوث أي شلل أو مضاعفات عصبية، لتستقر الحالة الصحية للطفل بشكل ملحوظ، ويغادر المستشفى بعد تماثله للشفاء.
A specialized medical team in neurosurgery at the university hospitals in Sohag Governorate has achieved a remarkable medical milestone, successfully performing a delicate and complex surgery to extract a stray bullet that had lodged in the brain of a seven-year-old child.
The case posed an extremely dangerous surgical challenge due to the sensitivity of the bullet's location within the brain tissue, necessitating precise intervention using the latest medical technologies, along with a comprehensive treatment plan to ensure the projectile was removed without harming brain cells or causing any neurological complications.
The university hospitals management confirmed that the child underwent a series of diagnostic tests and imaging upon arrival, before a multidisciplinary medical team prepared for the operation, which was conducted according to the highest medical standards and concluded with complete success.
The surgical team was able to extract the bullet with utmost precision while preserving the integrity of the brain tissue, without causing any paralysis or neurological complications, leading to a noticeable improvement in the child's health, allowing him to leave the hospital after recovering.
