أعلنت السلطات الصحية في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية عن ارتفاع عدد الإصابات المؤكدة بفيروس «إيبولا» إلى 1406 حالات، منها 438 وفاة.
وأوضحت السلطات الصحية بالكونغو أنه تم تسجيل هذه الحالات في أقاليم إيتوري وكيفو الشمالي وكيفو الجنوبي الواقعة بشرق البلاد.
