في حادثة نادرة هزّت قلب العاصمة الصينية، ارتطمت طائرة خفيفة بواجهة برج CITIC Tower -أحد أعلى ناطحات السحاب في العالم- ما تسبَّب في حالة استنفار واسعة داخل المنطقة المالية المركزية في بكين.
شهود عيان أكدوا لوكالات عالمية، بينها (رويترز)، أنهم سمعوا دوي الارتطام بوضوح، واصفينه بأنه أعلى من صوت الألعاب النارية، قبل أن يشاهدوا تصاعد حالة الطوارئ حول البرج.
وذكرت صحيفة South China Morning Post أن الحادث وقع في منطقة المال والأعمال الأكثر ازدحامًا في العاصمة، فيما أكد مراسل شبكة CNN من الموقع إخلاء البرج بالكامل وانتشار سيارات الإطفاء والشرطة والإسعاف في محيطه.
وبحسب المعلومات الأولية، تضررت واجهة البرج في موقع الاصطدام، لكن دون تسجيل أضرار هيكلية خطيرة. وتشير التقارير إلى أن الطائرة من طراز Sunward SA60L Aurora، وهي طائرة خفيفة صينية الصنع مملوكة لشركة Shuangyue General Aviation Beijing.
ويُعد برج CITIC، المعروف باسم تشاينا زون، أحد أبرز معالم بكين الحديثة، بارتفاع يبلغ 528 مترًا و108 طوابق منذ افتتاحه عام 2018. وحتى الآن، لم تصدر أي تقارير رسمية عن وقوع إصابات، بينما تستمر التحقيقات لمعرفة أسباب الحادث.
In a rare incident that shook the heart of the Chinese capital, a light aircraft collided with the facade of the CITIC Tower - one of the tallest skyscrapers in the world - causing a widespread state of alert in the central financial district of Beijing.
Eyewitnesses confirmed to global agencies, including (Reuters), that they heard the sound of the collision clearly, describing it as louder than the sound of fireworks, before witnessing the escalation of the emergency situation around the tower.
The South China Morning Post reported that the incident occurred in the busiest financial and business area of the capital, while a CNN correspondent on the scene confirmed the complete evacuation of the tower and the presence of fire trucks, police, and ambulances in the vicinity.
According to preliminary information, the facade of the tower was damaged at the site of the collision, but no serious structural damage was reported. Reports indicate that the aircraft is a Sunward SA60L Aurora, a light aircraft of Chinese manufacture owned by Shuangyue General Aviation Beijing.
The CITIC Tower, known as China Zun, is one of the prominent landmarks of modern Beijing, standing at a height of 528 meters with 108 floors since its opening in 2018. So far, no official reports of injuries have been released, while investigations continue to determine the causes of the incident.
