ويستهدف الأهلاويون تعويضهما بلاعبين شابين من أندية الصفوة في أوروبا، حيث تدرس الإدارة الرياضية في النادي مع المدرب ماتياس يايسله عدة خيارات لتعويضهما.
وكان النادي الأهلي قد ضم الثنائي رياض محرز وفرانك كيسيه في صيف 2023 قادمين من مانشستر سيتي وبرشلونة، وساهم الثنائي بشكل مباشر في تحقيق الأهلي لقب دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة مرتين على التوالي.
