تصاعدت حدة الهجمات الحوثية الإرهابية على ميناء المخا والساحل الغربي لليمن، بعدما تعرض الميناء لقصف صاروخي وهجمات بالطائرات المسيّرة والزوارق المفخخة، في تصعيد قالت القوات الحكومية اليمنية إنه يستهدف تعطيل الملاحة وضرب منشآت مدنية ومقدرات وطنية.
وأفادت القوات الحكومية اليمنية بأن مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية قصفت ميناء المخا بخمسة صواريخ خلال الليلة، قبل أن تعاود استهدافه بصاروخ سادس، فيما أظهرت مشاهد متداولة تصاعد ألسنة النيران من محيط الميناء عقب الهجمات.
خسائر بشرية في الميناء
وقال مدير ميناء المخا إن الهجمات الحوثية الإرهابية تهدف إلى إيقاف الملاحة في الميناء، فيما أكدت القوات المسلحة اليمنية أن الاعتداء أسفر عن خسائر بشرية.
وبالتزامن مع القصف الصاروخي، شهدت المنطقة محاولة هجوم بحري حوثي قبالة سواحل واحجة في المخا، وفق مصدر عسكري يمني، الذي أوضح أن الهجوم نُفذ باستخدام زوارق مأهولة وطائرات مسيّرة.
زوارق مفخخة تستهدف ناقلة
وكشف المصدر العسكري عن إحباط 3 هجمات حوثية بزوارق مفخخة من أصل 6 هجمات استهدفت ميناء المخا، مشيراً إلى أن الزوارق حاولت أيضاً استهداف ناقلة نفطية قرب باب المندب.
وأضاف أن القوات الحكومية أحبطت محاولة الهجوم البحري، فيما قُتل 8 عناصر حوثية خلال الاشتباكات المرتبطة بمحاولة الهجوم على سواحل واحجة.
44 مسيّرة باتجاه الميناء
ولم يقتصر التصعيد على الصواريخ والزوارق، إذ قال المصدر العسكري إن الحوثيين أطلقوا 44 طائرة مسيّرة باتجاه ميناء المخا والمنشآت المدنية على الساحل، وتمكنت القوات من إسقاط 15 مسيّرة منها.
وبالتزامن، نفذت القوات الحكومية عشرات الهجمات بالطيران المسيّر على مواقع للحوثيين في الساحل الغربي، مع استمرار القصف المدفعي على مواقع المليشيا الإرهابية في جبهات غربي تعز.
وتأتي هذه التطورات وسط تصعيد حوثي متعدد المسارات يستهدف ميناء المخا ومحيطه، في وقت تؤكد فيه القوات الحكومية أن الهجمات تطال أعياناً مدنية ومقدرات وطنية وتهدد حركة الملاحة في منطقة إستراتيجية قرب باب المندب.
The intensity of Houthi terrorist attacks on the port of Al-Mokha and the western coast of Yemen has escalated, following missile strikes and attacks using drones and explosive boats on the port, in a surge that Yemeni government forces say aims to disrupt navigation and strike civilian facilities and national resources.
The Yemeni government forces reported that the Houthi terrorist militia fired five missiles at the port of Al-Mokha during the night, before targeting it again with a sixth missile, while circulated footage showed flames rising from the vicinity of the port following the attacks.
Human losses at the port
The director of the port of Al-Mokha stated that the Houthi terrorist attacks aim to halt navigation at the port, while the Yemeni armed forces confirmed that the assault resulted in human losses.
Simultaneously with the missile bombardment, the area witnessed an attempted Houthi naval attack off the coast of Wahja in Al-Mokha, according to a Yemeni military source, who explained that the attack was carried out using manned boats and drones.
Explosive boats targeting a tanker
The military source revealed that 3 Houthi attacks using explosive boats were thwarted out of 6 attacks targeting the port of Al-Mokha, noting that the boats also attempted to target an oil tanker near Bab al-Mandab.
He added that government forces thwarted the attempt of the naval attack, while 8 Houthi elements were killed during the clashes related to the attempted attack on the shores of Wahja.
44 drones towards the port
The escalation was not limited to missiles and boats, as the military source stated that the Houthis launched 44 drones towards the port of Al-Mokha and civilian facilities on the coast, and the forces managed to shoot down 15 of those drones.
At the same time, government forces carried out dozens of drone attacks on Houthi positions on the western coast, while artillery shelling continued on the positions of the terrorist militia in the western fronts of Taiz.
These developments come amid a multi-faceted Houthi escalation targeting the port of Al-Mokha and its surroundings, at a time when government forces confirm that the attacks are hitting civilian objects and national resources and threaten navigation in a strategic area near Bab al-Mandab.
