أغلق الأردن، فجر اليوم (الأحد)، ملفات أمنية وجنائية معقّدة ظلت حاضرة في ذاكرة الأردنيين سنواتٍ طويلةً، بعدما نفذت السلطات الأردنية رسمياً أحكام الإعدام بحق 6 مدانين تورطوا في قضايا إرهابية وجرائم خطيرة أودت بحياة رجال أمن أثناء أداء واجبهم الوطني.
وأعلن وزير الاتصال الحكومي المتحدث باسم الحكومة الأردنية الدكتور محمد المومني تنفيذ الأحكام بعد استكمال جميع الإجراءات القانونية والدستورية واكتسابها الدرجة القطعية، في خطوة حاسمة أعادت إلى الواجهة ملفات أمنية شكلت محطات فارقة في تاريخ المواجهة مع الإرهاب والجريمة المنظمة في الأردن.
وتصدّرت قضية «خلية السلط» المشهد القضائي، وهي واحدة من أخطر القضايا الإرهابية التي شهدها الأردن خلال السنوات الماضية، إذ نُفذ حكم الإعدام بحق اثنين من المدانين بتأسيس الخلية الإرهابية التي شهدت مواجهات دامية عام 2018، راح ضحيتها عدد من رجال الأمن خلال عملية ملاحقة واسعة.
كما شملت الأحكام الصارمة مداناً في القضية المرتبطة برحيل العميد عبدالرزاق الدلابيح عام 2022، وهي الجريمة التي أثارت آنذاك موجة غضب وتنديد واسعة داخل الأردن، بعدما استهدفت رصاصات الغدر أحد أبرز القيادات الأمنية الأردنية.
ولم تقتصر الأحكام المنفذة على القضايا الإرهابية والتنظيمات المتطرفة فحسب، بل طالت أيضاً 3 مدانين في قضايا مرتبطة بتجارة المخدرات ومقاومة الأجهزة الأمنية أثناء تنفيذ مداهمات مسلحة، وهي المواجهات العنيفة التي راح ضحيتها عدد من رجال الأمن الأردنيين خلال عمليات مكافحة تهريب وترويج السموم.
ويأتي تنفيذ هذه الأحكام في وقت تواصل فيه السلطات الأردنية تشديد إجراءاتها والضرب بيد من حديد ضد التنظيمات المتطرفة وشبكات تهريب المخدرات عبر الحدود، وسط تأكيدات رسمية بأن استهداف رجال الأمن أو محاولة تهديد أمن واستقرار الأردن سيواجه دائماً بأقصى العقوبات التي يجيزها القانون.
Jordan executed complex security and criminal files early today (Sunday), which have remained in the memory of Jordanians for many years, after the Jordanian authorities officially carried out death sentences against 6 convicted individuals involved in terrorist cases and serious crimes that led to the deaths of security personnel while performing their national duty.
The Minister of Government Communication and spokesperson for the Jordanian government, Dr. Mohammad Momani, announced the execution of the sentences after completing all legal and constitutional procedures and obtaining finality, in a decisive step that brought back to the forefront security files that have marked pivotal moments in the history of confronting terrorism and organized crime in Jordan.
The case of the "Salt Cell" topped the judicial scene, being one of the most dangerous terrorist cases witnessed by Jordan in recent years, as the death sentence was carried out against two of the convicted individuals who established the terrorist cell that experienced bloody confrontations in 2018, resulting in the deaths of several security personnel during a wide-ranging pursuit operation.
The strict sentences also included a convict in the case related to the assassination of Colonel Abdul Razzaq Al-Dalabih in 2022, a crime that sparked widespread outrage and condemnation within Jordan at the time, after the treacherous bullets targeted one of the most prominent Jordanian security leaders.
The executed sentences were not limited to terrorist cases and extremist organizations, but also extended to 3 convicts in cases related to drug trafficking and resisting security forces during armed raids, which were violent confrontations that resulted in the deaths of several Jordanian security personnel during operations to combat smuggling and trafficking of narcotics.
The execution of these sentences comes at a time when the Jordanian authorities continue to tighten their measures and strike hard against extremist organizations and drug smuggling networks across the borders, amid official assurances that targeting security personnel or attempting to threaten the security and stability of Jordan will always be met with the maximum penalties permitted by law.
