Although the "Hanta" virus does not typically transmit between humans as is the case with Corona, the real fear lies in the rare "Andes" strain detected in the recent cases, which is the only version capable of person-to-person transmission. The virus aggressively attacks the lungs or causes hemorrhagic fever leading to rapid kidney failure, making it a significant medical challenge.
While Trump reassured the world that "experts are working," the Russian "Gamaliya" Center announced that developing an effective vaccine could take at least a year and a half. In the meantime, passengers aboard the ship remain under health quarantine, awaiting what the coming days will bring.
