في واقعة مروعة، بدأت النيابة العامة المصرية بمدينة 6 أكتوبر تحقيقات موسعة وشاملة لكشف ملابسات وأسباب العثور على جثتي طفلين متفحمتين داخل محول كهرباء في منطقة مساكن 109 (مشروع 109) بمدينة 6 أكتوبر، في حادثة مأساوية أثارت صدمة واسعة بين الأهالي.
وتلقت غرفة عمليات النجدة بمديرية أمن الجيزة بلاغاً من أهالي المنطقة يفيد بانبعاث رائحة احتراق قوية ووجود جثث متفحمة داخل أحد محولات الكهرباء، وعلى الفور انتقلت قوات الشرطة والإنقاذ إلى المكان، حيث تبين بعد المعاينة والفحص الأولي وجود جثتي طفلين (غير محددي العمر بدقة في التقارير الأولية) متفحمتين تماماً داخل المحول.
وتم نقل الجثتين إلى مشرحة المستشفى المختصة، وتحرير محضر بالواقعة رقم [غير محدد في التقارير] بقسم شرطة 6 أكتوبر، وأخطرت النيابة العامة التي تولت التحقيق فوراً.
وأمرت النيابة بسرعة إجراء تحريات المباحث الجنائية للتوصل إلى هوية الضحيتين، وسبب وفاتهما، وظروف دخولهما إلى المحول.
كما طلبت عرض الجثتين على الطب الشرعي لإجراء تشريح دقيق يحدد سبب الوفاة ومحاولة تحديد الهوية رغم تشوه الجثث بشكل كبير بفعل الحرارة الشديدة.
وتشمل الإجراءات الأمنية الاستماع إلى أقوال شهود العيان في المنطقة، مراجعة تسجيلات كاميرات المراقبة المحيطة بالموقع لتحديد أي أشخاص اقتربوا من المحول، فحص بلاغات التغيب عن المنازل خلال الفترة الأخيرة في المنطقة والمحافظات المجاورة، بحثاً عن أطفال مفقودين قد يتطابقون مع الضحيتين.
ولم تكشف التحقيقات الأولية حتى الآن تفاصيل إضافية حول ما إذا كان الحادث عرضياً أم جنائياً ويستمر الغموض يحيط بالواقعة مع استمرار جمع الأدلة.
In a horrifying incident, the Egyptian Public Prosecution in 6th of October City has launched extensive and comprehensive investigations to uncover the circumstances and reasons behind the discovery of the charred bodies of two children inside an electrical transformer in the 109 Housing Area (Project 109) in 6th of October City, in a tragic event that has shocked the local community.
The operations room of the Giza Security Directorate received a report from the residents of the area about a strong burning smell and the presence of charred bodies inside one of the electrical transformers. Immediately, police and rescue forces were dispatched to the location, where an initial examination revealed the presence of the completely charred bodies of two children (ages not precisely determined in the initial reports) inside the transformer.
The bodies were transferred to the designated hospital morgue, and a report of the incident was filed under case number [not specified in the reports] at the 6th of October Police Station, and the Public Prosecution was notified, which took over the investigation immediately.
The Public Prosecution ordered a swift investigation by the criminal investigation department to determine the identities of the victims, the cause of their deaths, and the circumstances of their entry into the transformer.
It also requested that the bodies be presented to forensic medicine for a thorough autopsy to determine the cause of death and to attempt to identify them despite the significant disfigurement caused by the intense heat.
Security measures include listening to eyewitness accounts in the area, reviewing surveillance camera recordings surrounding the site to identify any individuals who approached the transformer, and examining reports of missing persons in the area and neighboring governorates in search of missing children who may match the victims.
So far, the initial investigations have not revealed additional details regarding whether the incident was accidental or criminal, and the mystery surrounding the case continues as evidence is still being collected.
