كشفت وسائل إعلام عراقية عن تحركات لتحالف الجماعات الكردية الإيرانية المدعومة من أمريكا للانضمام إلى الحملة الأمريكية الإسرائيلية لإسقاط النظام الإيراني.
ونقل موقع «المونيتور» العراقي عن مصادر وصفها بـ«المطلعة» قولها إن القوات الكردية الإيرانية، التي تم تزويدها بالأسلحة والمعدات الأخرى، تستعد للعبور نحو إيران في غضون أيام، موضحة أنه كان من المتوقع أن تتم هذه الخطوة (الأحد)، عندما اتصل الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب بالزعيمين الكرديين العراقيين، مسعود بارزاني وبافل طالباني، لمناقشة الأمر.
وقالت المصادر إن رئيس الحزب الديمقراطي الكردستاني العراقي بارزاني، لم يكن معارضاً للخطة، التي تهدف إلى أن تتولى الجماعات الكردية الإيرانية المسلحة زمام الأمور في المناطق ذات الأغلبية الكردية عبر الحدود، مبينة أن الهدف تسريع انهيار النظام الإيراني من خلال استنزاف قواته، وتشجيع الأقليات العرقية الأخرى على الانتفاض ضده أيضاً، ومنها البلوش والأذريون.
وذكرت المصادر أنه من المتوقع أن تمر تلك القوات الكردية المسلحة عبر منطقة الحاج عمران الخاضعة لسيطرة الحزب الديمقراطي الكردستاني، ثم جنوباً قرب معبر باشماق الحدودي في السليمانية، الخاضعة لسيطرة الاتحاد الوطني الكردستاني بزعامة طالباني.
بدوره، قال مسؤول في ائتلاف القوى السياسية لكردستان إيران إن الجماعات الكردية المسلحة المتمركزة في العراق بدأت بالفعل هجوماً عسكرياً ضد قوات النظام الإيراني، موضحاً في تصريحات صحفية أن المقاتلين الأكراد المرتبطين بحزب حياة كردستان الحرة، اتخذوا مواقع قتالية داخل الأراضي الإيرانية (الإثنين).
وأشار إلى أن القوات الإيرانية أخلت مدينة مريوان الحدودية في الثالث من مارس وبدأت بإقامة مواقع دفاعية في المنطقة وحولها، مبينة أن المسلحين الأكراد تمركزوا في مواقع حول جبال الجنوب في مريوان غربي ايران وعمق جبال زاغروس من خلال جناحين مسلحين (وحدات حماية كردستان الشرقية) و(قوات حماية المرأة)،
بدوره، نقل موقع «أكسيوس» عن مسؤول أمريكي قوله: الجماعات الكردية الإيرانية شنت هجوما بريا شمال غرب إيران، فيما قال مسؤول آخر لـ «فوكس نيوز»: آلاف الأكراد شنوا هجوما بريا في إيران.
ونقلت صحيفة يسرائيل هيوم عن مصدر إسرائيلي قوله: الحدث المتعلق بالأكراد حقيقي وله أهمية كبيرة.
وكانت شبكة «سي إن إن» قد ذكرت أن وكالة المخابرات المركزية الأمريكية تدرس خططاً لتسليح القوات الكردية بهدف إثارة انتفاضة شعبية داخل إيران.
Iraqi media outlets have revealed movements by the Iranian Kurdish groups supported by the U.S. to join the American-Israeli campaign to overthrow the Iranian regime.
The Iraqi website "Al-Monitor" quoted sources described as "informed" saying that the Iranian Kurdish forces, which have been supplied with weapons and other equipment, are preparing to cross into Iran within days, noting that this step was expected to take place on (Sunday), when U.S. President Donald Trump contacted the two Iraqi Kurdish leaders, Masoud Barzani and Pavel Talabani, to discuss the matter.
The sources stated that the President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Democratic Party, Barzani, was not opposed to the plan, which aims for the armed Iranian Kurdish groups to take control of the Kurdish-majority areas across the border, indicating that the goal is to accelerate the collapse of the Iranian regime by exhausting its forces and encouraging other ethnic minorities, including the Baluchis and Azerbaijanis, to rise against it as well.
The sources mentioned that these armed Kurdish forces are expected to pass through the Haj Omran area controlled by the Kurdistan Democratic Party, then south near the Bashmaq border crossing in Sulaymaniyah, which is under the control of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan led by Talabani.
For his part, a spokesperson for the Iranian Kurdish political coalition stated that the armed Kurdish groups stationed in Iraq have already launched a military attack against the Iranian regime's forces, explaining in press statements that the Kurdish fighters linked to the Free Life Party of Kurdistan have taken combat positions inside Iranian territory (on Monday).
He pointed out that Iranian forces evacuated the border city of Marivan on March 3 and began establishing defensive positions in the area and around it, indicating that the Kurdish militants have positioned themselves around the southern mountains in Marivan, western Iran, and deep in the Zagros Mountains through two armed wings (Eastern Kurdistan Protection Units) and (Women’s Protection Forces).
In turn, the website "Axios" quoted an American official saying: the Iranian Kurdish groups launched a ground attack in northwestern Iran, while another official told "Fox News": thousands of Kurds launched a ground attack in Iran.
The newspaper Israel Hayom quoted an Israeli source saying: the event concerning the Kurds is real and of great significance.
It was reported by CNN that the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency is studying plans to arm the Kurdish forces with the aim of inciting a popular uprising within Iran.
