شهدت سماء تولوكا أمس حادثاً مأساوياً بعد تحطم طائرة خاصة تحمل الرقم التسلسلي XA PRO بالقرب من مطار تولوكا الدولي. وكانت الطائرة أقلعت من أكابولكو متجهة إلى عاصمة ولاية مكسيكو، وكان من المقرر وصولها الساعة 12:29 ظهراً، قبل أن تصطدم بمستودع في حي سان بيدرو توتولتبيك.
وتسبب الاصطدام في انفجار أعقبه اندلاع حريق هائل، ما أثار هلع السكان والعاملين في المنطقة. وارتفعت سحابة من الدخان الأسود كانت مرئية من عدة نقاط في المدينة، فيما طلبت السلطات المحلية الابتعاد عن المنطقة للسماح لفرق الطوارئ بالوصول بسرعة وأمان.
وكان على متن الطائرة 10 أشخاص، بينهم الطيار ومساعده وثمانية ركاب.
وتشير المعلومات إلى أن الطائرة الصغيرة التي تحطمت في تولوكا كانت من طراز «سيسنا»، وهي طائرة تنفيذية مسجلة برقم XA-PRO، وقد أقلعت من أكابولكو بغيريرو متجهة إلى تولوكا بولاية المكسيك.
ووفقاً لسجل الرحلة، كانت الطائرة على بعد نحو 5.7 كيلومتر من الهبوط عندما فقد سائقها السيطرة عليها وتحطمت.
وتبين تسجيلات صوتية غير رسمية مسربة من برج المراقبة ومتداولة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، أن الطيار أصدر رسالة تحذيرية قبل ثوانٍ من الاصطدام، قائلاً: «نحن نهوي بسرعة»، ومع ذلك لم تؤكد السلطات هذه المعلومات رسمياً.
The sky over Toluca witnessed a tragic incident yesterday after a private plane with the serial number XA PRO crashed near Toluca International Airport. The plane had taken off from Acapulco heading to the capital of the State of Mexico, and was scheduled to arrive at 12:29 PM before colliding with a warehouse in the San Pedro Totoltepec neighborhood.
The collision caused an explosion followed by a massive fire, which sparked panic among residents and workers in the area. A cloud of black smoke rose that was visible from several points in the city, while local authorities requested people to stay away from the area to allow emergency teams to reach quickly and safely.
There were 10 people on board the plane, including the pilot, co-pilot, and eight passengers.
Information indicates that the small plane that crashed in Toluca was a "Cessna," a business aircraft registered under the number XA-PRO, which had taken off from Acapulco in Guerrero heading to Toluca in the State of Mexico.
According to the flight log, the plane was about 5.7 kilometers from landing when the pilot lost control and crashed.
Leaked unofficial audio recordings from the control tower circulating on social media indicate that the pilot issued a warning message seconds before the crash, saying: "We are descending rapidly," however, authorities have not officially confirmed this information.
